Discover nature and heritage
The Ardèche is a paradise for lovers of nature and history. In the Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d’Ardèche, you walk through a UNESCO-recognized landscape full of volcanic hills, chestnut forests, and panoramic vistas. Along the way, you discover Roman remains, ancient bridges, and medieval villages that seem frozen in time. Prehistoric heritage is also abundantly present, with the world-famous Grotte Chauvet as the highlight. Here, you effortlessly combine active hikes with cultural discoveries, while the peace and space of nature provide true relaxation.

Go on an adventure in the Ardèche Gorges
A journey through the impressive Gorges de l’Ardèche is a must during your stay. This spectacular gorge offers rugged rock formations, emerald green water, and hidden beaches along the river. Whether you choose hiking, canoeing, or simply a picnic with a view: nature is at its finest here. The hiking trail from Les Crottes near Labastide-de-Virac leads you along water, pebbles, and rocks, with plenty of opportunities for a refreshing swim. A real day full of adventure and experiencing nature, ideal for active holidaymakers.
Visit the most beautiful villages
In addition to its natural beauty, the Ardèche is known for its characterful villages. Stroll through the narrow streets of Vogüé, officially one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, or admire Balazuc, which towers high above the river. Labeaume enchants with its limestone houses and cozy squares, while Vallon Pont d’Arc combines history and vibrancy. Saint-Montan, with its restored medieval center, is also well worth a visit. Each village tells its own story and offers a unique glimpse into authentic Ardèche life.
Experience the Ardèche with the whole family
The area also offers plenty of fun for families with children. Just a few minutes’ walk away is the educational farm of Lussas, where young and old can meet animals up close. In addition, there are numerous outdoor activities such as swimming in rivers, cycling tours through rolling landscapes, and playful walking routes. In summer, local markets and village festivals add extra cheerfulness. Whether you choose action or relaxation, the Ardèche manages to fill every holiday day with variety, nature, and a warm, authentic atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool, the wading pool, and the nearby river kept us busy for most of our stay. The campground itself is excellent; the different sections offer a variety of atmospheres. The entertainment is top-notch. We’ll be back.

We just got back from a week at this campground, and we’re left feeling disappointed.
The parking lot at the reception area is used as the campground’s trash dump, which makes for a bad first impression upon arrival.
As a single mom with a little tribe, I would have appreciated being assigned a spot close to the restrooms. Unfortunately, the restrooms closest to our site were out of service.
(Apparently, there have been several comments about this for some time now, but nothing has changed...)
The showers were a real problem: the water was scalding hot, making showering very difficult, if not impossible, for the kids.
My son is just one of the kids who got burned!
As for the pool, there were only five umbrellas available for all the guests. Plus, no one monitors the lounge chairs: some people put their towels down first thing in the morning and leave them unoccupied for hours. A system for reserving or releasing lounge chairs, as is done at other campgrounds, would be greatly appreciated.
In early July, two gazebos and the playground were still under construction, which is unfortunate in the middle of the season.
It’s impossible to pay in cash on site. (Unless you create an account using the wristbands).
The pastries offered are inedible (undercooked). As other reviews have already pointed out, there have been issues with the food service, and yet nothing has changed....
The bungalow was not clean (the start-of-season cleaning had not been done). Some cutlery was missing. Despite reporting the issue, maintenance never came to fix it.
The kids’ club was a huge disappointment: schedules weren’t followed, activities weren’t always age-appropriate, and the use of foul language was simply unacceptable.
The mini-market is practically nonexistent: very limited selection and almost no fresh produce.
The so-called welcome cocktail hour must have lasted 15 minutes (if you can even call it that) and took place at the same time as club registration, so it was impossible to participate. We didn’t even have time to see a single drink go by…
The Wi-Fi connection never worked, despite the access codes.
It’s a shame, because the staff is generally welcoming and friendly, but given all these inconveniences, our stay unfortunately didn’t live up to our expectations.
Given the persistent comments on the same issues over the past while with no changes, we won’t be returning here.
Obviously, my review wasn’t posted on their Booking website, nor were my photos...this is a translation, click here for the original

A warm welcome. There was a problem with the hot water in the showers, which unfortunately was never resolved during our stay. As for the evening entertainment, no complaints—Jade and her colleague did a great job, as did everyone else working at the campground.

I’ll never spend another week there. I rented a mobile home with AC, but starting at 5 p.m., there were repeated power outages that lasted the whole week. There was no game room. The campground was open to everyone near the pool because it wasn’t fenced in. I had to give it one star.
