Stay in a beautifully restored, authentic windmill and experience a holiday you’ll never forget. Ancient windmill Gommenec’h offers four cosy floors, each with its own character. In the custom-made kitchen you’ll find everything you need to prepare a relaxed breakfast or a simple dinner after a day out. The lovingly restored spiral staircase takes you up through the tower, floor by floor, until you reach the snug upper levels with their warm and inviting atmosphere.

The interior combines rustic charm with modern comfort: thick stone walls, wooden beams and original details are paired with practical facilities so you don’t have to compromise on convenience. With space for up to four people and one pet, this windmill is perfect for a couple, a small family or a few friends looking for something a little different.

Outside, you’re surrounded by peaceful countryside. The windmill is set near a working farm, which makes it especially fun if you’re travelling with children. They can watch the cows being milked and get to know farm life up close, while you enjoy fresh organic milk in the morning – the perfect start to your day.

When you’re ready to explore, the Goëlo coast is just a short drive away. Golden beaches, small coves and rugged cliffs are all within easy reach by car.     We were there in September and unfortunately the accommodation was uninhabitable due to an insect infestation (stink bugs and flies). Although it is a historic property in the middle of nature, the accommodation is somewhat dated. There was mold in the shower and cobwebs on the walls. The rating the accommodation apparently received was misleading to us. The owners were completely unsympathetic. The compensation Belvilla offered us was out of all proportion to what we paid. We probably won't see that money again, especially since we had to book alternative accommodation.

    Wij waren er in september en helaas was de accommodatie onbewoonbaar vanwege een insectenplaag (stinkwantsen en vliegen). Hoewel het een historisch pand midden in de natuur is, is de accommodatie wat gedateerd. Er zat schimmel in de douche en er zaten spinnenwebben op de muren. De beoordeling die de accommodatie blijkbaar kreeg, was voor ons misleidend. De eigenaren waren volkomen onsympathiek. De compensatie die Belvilla ons bood, staat in geen verhouding tot wat we betaald hebben. Dat geld zien we waarschijnlijk niet meer terug, vooral omdat we een alternatieve accommodatie moesten boeken.

    Wir waren im September dort und leider war die Unterkunft aufgrund eines Insektenbefalls (Stinkwanzen und Fliegen) nicht bewohnbar. Auch wenn es sich um ein historisches Gebäude inmitten der Natur handelt, ist die Unterkunft schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Schimmel in der Dusche, Spinnweben an den Wänden. Die Auszeichnung, die die Unterkunft scheinbar erhalten hat, war für uns irreführend. Kein Verständnis von Seiten der Hausbesitzer. Die Entschädigungssumme, die uns Belvilla angeboten hat, steht nicht im Verhältnis zu dem, was wir gezahlt haben. Das Geld werden wir wahrscheinlich nicht wiedersehen, zumal wir eine Ersatzunterkunft buchen mussten.

    Een heerlijke ontsnapping! De unieke architectuur van de molen voegt charme toe, We hielden van de nabijheid van de stranden en genoten van het fietsen in de omgeving, Zeer aan te raden!

    Een charmant uitje in een prachtige omgeving! De renovatie is met smaak uitgevoerd en we hebben een comfortabel verblijf gehad. Het was fijn om zo dicht bij de boerderij te zijn en tegelijkertijd toegang te hebben tot de kust.

    Het verblijf in de oude windmolen was echt een unieke ervaring! Elke verdieping had zijn eigen charme, en de spiraltrap gaf een leuke touch, De keuken was goed uitgerust, waardoor het gemakkelijk was om maaltijden te bereiden, We genoten vooral van de verse, biologische melk voor ontbijt, rechtstreeks van de nabijgelegen boerderij, De vredige plattelandslocatie was perfect om te ontspannen, en we waren toch maar een kort ritje van de prachtige stranden aan de Goelo-kust, De gastheren waren ongelooflijk gastvrij, waardoor we ons meteen thuis voelden, Ik zou deze plek aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een memorabel uitje!
