Saint-Malo
Saint-Malo was founded in the 12th century and was long the residence of pirates. Later it grew into an important port and today the city is a tourist attraction. From the "walls" leading from the bastion to the tower, you can see the city's narrow streets on one side and a beautiful view of the beaches, port and forts on the other. Paved streets, filled with stores and terraces, run through the historic downtown. The city has its own fort, Fort National, which can be visited at low tide since it is located on an island. Château de la duchesse Anna is now a museum and depicts sea fishing and piracy.

Visit the medieval town of Dinan
A 25-minute drive from the campground is the medieval town of Dinan. With almost 3 kilometers of ramparts and the 14th century castle, the city, which sits on an 80-meter high plateau, towers over the valley of the Rance. Its perfectly preserved old houses and winding streets immediately put you in the medieval atmosphere. Stroll through Rue du Jerzual and the historic center, where you will find quaint workshops, glassblowers and restaurants. Descend to the old port, which is a nice setting for a stroll. Visit the Basilica Saint-Sauveur with its different architectural styles and, of course, Dinan's castle.
Forest of Villecartier
The Forest of Villecartier is an old royal forest of 1,000 hectares full of magnificent beeches and oaks. You will find many trails that take you past the pond, small monuments and impressive trees. Children can enjoy playing, tree climbing and even take a tree climbing course. Sit down at one of the picnic tables and enjoy the peace and natural beauty around you.
Ill-et-Rance canal
The 89 km Ill-et-Rance Canal offers plenty of opportunities where you can enjoy nature. Take a lovely morning walk along the water or get on your bike. The canal is the perfect place to cast your rod for an afternoon of fishing. For those looking for a little more adventure, you can rent a kayak or canoe to take out on the water. You can drive there in half an hour.

The park is praised for its friendly staff and clean facilities, especially the heated swimming pool and spacious pitches. Guests appreciate the beautiful, tranquil location by the château and the welcoming kids' animation. The restaurant serves delicious pizzas and the central courtyard offers a relaxed atmosphere. Some visitors note that the sanitary facilities could be cleaned more thoroughly and that service can occasionally feel stiff during peak times.

Our 7th time staying here with our caravan but this time we were accompanied by our family in their own caravan too, something we have been looking forward to doing for years. It certainly did not disappoint. When we booked in January, we requested two particular pitches, but on arrival we were told that the area around those pitches had recently been reseeded, and as they had just had rain a few days before, they suggested we chose different pitches. We were happy to do this and pitched in an area we had not used before. The pitches were very big and perfectly separated by hedges which gave us security for my preschool grandchildren to run between our two caravans. The site is now an Homair/Eurocamp site rather than privately owned as it was when we first came here many years ago. We couldn’t see any difference since the change of ownership and it still remains one of our favourite caravan sites in Brittany. No doubt at all that we will return. The facilities remain very good, though as we were there early in the season, only one toilet block was open. We had a mix of weather but fortunately we were able to get in the pool, which the children loved. The play area was also a firm favourite. My granddaughter starts school in September so I am sure we will notice a difference in how busy it will be next time we come, but that won’t put us off. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good, though as before, the menu is limited if you were to eat there more than once. We will definitely return when we are next in this area of Brittany.

We were delighted with our stay in our RV at this campground.
The sites are spacious, and the restrooms are clean. The pool area is great for both adults and kids, with lots of water play features. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only minor downside during peak season is that the snack bar and bar don’t open until late in the day.
Other than that, no complaints—we’ll happily come back for another weekend 😊this is a translation, click here for the original

We had a great stay at this campground (in a tent with private bathrooms, as a family)
Pros: The setting is beautiful—it’s very pleasant and relaxing.
The campground’s location is close to Combourg, where you’ll find everything you need, and just 20–30 minutes from the ocean.
The campsites are clean, as are the restrooms.
The pool is a bit small, but it’s heated and well-maintained, and there are shallow areas for little ones—which is great—as well as water jets. (The bowls could use a good cleaning, though...)
The staff is friendly and pleasant.
The campsite with private restrooms is great! Clean and convenient.
Cons: It doesn’t deserve a 5-star rating, both in terms of the services offered and the activities available.
The snack bar, the bar, and the restaurant aren’t open until 5 p.m. During peak season, that’s not feasible and not practical at all if you don’t want to cook or leave the campground.
As for the snack bar, the paninis are really not great—I don’t recommend them.
The grocery store is practically nonexistent—it’s in the reception area and there really isn’t much there. That, too, could use an expansion and a bit more variety, especially for a campground that wants to be rated 5 stars.
The entertainment is just okay; the staff is very friendly but lacks a bit of professionalism. We’ve seen better.
I hope the campground takes our feedback into account to improve the campers’ comfort.
So for us, it’s still a 4-star campground, but definitely not a 5-star one.
We had a good stay overall; it’s a nice campground, and we might come back.this is a translation, click here for the original
On a connu mieux.
