It was a great stay. We came because of the the location near seafront in direction to Ile Groix to see the finish of the Ocean Race Atlantic - that worked perfectly fine!

We rented mobile home A08 - a premium one with seaview. It was completely fine. Our experience was limited by
    - kind of plastic-baga, the bed and the pillow is put in (possibly good against urinating but quite uncomfortable for normal usage (very sweaty)
    - it is packed too much stuff into the mobile home: kitchen, livingroon, two bedroom, bathroom with separated toilette and a locker so big to walk into it - all this on 40square meters - wow…. Really compressed.
We habe stayed there with 2 adults and our small dog.
OK for some days (6 in our case) but we are very glad to have switched to a bigger house for the rest of our 3-week-vacation.

When I imagine to have stayed there with 4 persons amd our dog, this causes an expectation of a boring time bevause of too mamy po
people and too much stuff compressed in this little place.

But as I said - for two people with one small dog it‘s quite comfortable and enjoyable for a couple of days.

It’s really not easy to give just four stars because almost everything here is perfect for us in early September!
The campground is fully booked, yet it’s still very quiet. There’s always a free seat at the bar with delicious drinks, plenty of open lounge chairs by the pool, and you can play table tennis, bocce, and basketball.

The service is very friendly and helpful everywhere. Lots of young and dedicated staff.

The campsites, which are sufficiently large, have electricity and a few water outlets here and there.
There are a lot of mobile homes, which detracts a bit from the camping experience. But unfortunately, that’s a trend right now, especially in France.

The restroom facility (there’s only one) is okay. It might be a bit dark during the day and has an unusual shower setup, but everything works and is clean.

There are nice restaurants and bars in the area (tip: Ker Rock Café). There are a few beaches that are quite beautiful and not overcrowded.

It’s a real shame, but the campground can’t do anything about the state of the surroundings—which are actually very beautiful. On the beaches where dogs are prohibited, it’s still okay. But in the protected areas leading up to them and on the “open” beaches, it’s unbelievable. The sides of the paths are covered in dog poop (sorry, but that’s the truth), even though dog waste bags are provided everywhere. I’ve truly never seen anything like it. You read about this on the coastal hiking trails, too, but when you see it for yourself here, in such a great setting… it’s unbelievable!
What else can the local government do about it?

But again: The campground is great!!

Was will man da als Gemeinde noch machen.

Aber nochmal: Der Campingplatz ist super!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pointe du Talud campground. The location is ideal. The Customs Officers’ Trail is nearby—no need to take the car—and the region is beautiful. The campground and the rental were both great. I’ll be back.
