Boat Trip
Explore the Gulf of Morbihan by boat and discover dozens of small islands. Board in Vannes and sail among rocky islets, sailboats, and fishing villages. Along the way, you'll spot seabirds and see the coast of Brittany from the water. You can choose a sightseeing cruise or a crossing to Île-aux-Moines, where you can enjoy walking and picnicking.

Vannes
Visit the historic center of Vannes, just a 10-minute drive from the campsite. Stroll along colorful half-timbered houses, trendy boutiques, and lively terraces. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a market in the old town, where you can find local cheese, cider, and fresh fish. Don’t forget to admire the city walls and the harbor – perfect for a relaxing afternoon full of atmosphere.
Île aux Moines
Step onto the ferry and escape the mainland for a while: Île aux Moines is a charming island, just a fifteen-minute boat ride from Port Blanc. No cars here, but winding paths, old fishermen's cottages, and hidden beaches. Rent a bike and explore the island at your own pace. You'll pass small chapels, blooming hydrangeas, and breathtaking viewpoints over the Gulf of Morbihan. Need a break? Enjoy fresh oysters or a crêpe on a terrace with sea views. This island feels like a secret tip, without hordes of tourists. It's also a great day trip with children: safe, easy to navigate, and full of nature. The crossing is short and affordable – perfect for a relaxing and original day during your holiday in Southern Brittany.
Brittany
Explore Brittany: a region full of character, rugged coastlines, and charming villages. Here, Celtic influences clash with French conviviality. Stroll through fishing ports, taste galettes in a local crêperie, or admire ancient menhirs in Carnac. Nature is always close by—from wild cliffs to sheltered coves on the Gulf of Morbihan. Surfers find their waves, hikers follow the GR34 along the coast. The cities are also worth discovering: historic Vannes, vibrant Rennes, and the mysterious Quimper. Brittany is quirky and pure, with a relaxed atmosphere and impressive landscapes. Everything is easily accessible, whether you travel by car or prefer to cycle. A holiday in Brittany always feels like a journey of discovery full of surprises and local charm.

Summary created out of 120 reviews
The park boasts an excellent location near Vannes and the Gulf of Morbihan, with a bus stop right outside and cycle paths to the city. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff and the spacious, green pitches. The restaurant is praised for good pizzas and fair prices. Criticisms focus mainly on outdated and insufficiently clean sanitary facilities, a dated swimming pool with too few sun loungers, and limited entertainment and amenities for a four-star campsite.

It’s very disappointing to have to go report a problem to the front desk when something isn’t right. If management were doing their job properly, they would check on the condition of the restrooms regularly. During our 12-day stay, we only saw management at the welcome reception on Sunday at 6 p.m. No interaction with guests, no friendliness. We’re paying for a 4-star hotel, and the service doesn’t measure up. The same goes for the cleanliness of the restrooms. Every day, by around 1 p.m., we couldn’t pull any more toilet paper off the holder. Find another system! Not to mention that there was no toilet paper at all in the new restrooms. Even at a 2-star hotel, they provide toilet paper. Normally, the restrooms are cleaned twice a day, according to what I was told at the front desk. But when, at 9 a.m., the trash cans in the restrooms are just as full as they were the night before and I’m told that cleaning has already been done—yet there’s a strong smell of urine and the floor is definitely not clean—there’s a problem. Same thing with the showers, where the drain grates are absolutely disgusting. You walk into the shower and have to start by hosing down the floor and scraping it with a squeegee just to dare set foot in there. Either the staff isn’t following the two daily cleaning shifts, or they really don’t know what cleanliness is. They’re young seasonal workers who obviously don’t have much experience, but if management trained them properly, they could do a good job. We had a similar problem with the seasonal workers in the restaurant, who clearly weren’t taught how to manage a dining room, take orders, or—in short—get organized. Everything can be learned; you just have to take the time to show them how.
As for the entertainment, we’re clearly told at the welcome reception that this isn’t a Cap Fun and that, out of respect for the neighbors, we can’t make noise too late at night. I understand that, but 9:30 p.m. is really very early. I’ve never been to a Cap Fun—I prefer small, family-friendly campsites—but generally, the entertainment used to last at least until 10:30 p.m. It’s honestly a shame to have the evening cut short, leaving us with only an hour of entertainment. In fact, it doesn’t make you want to come to the entertainment at all.
The restaurant doesn’t open until 11:00 a.m., so if you want to grab a quick coffee or even have breakfast there, it’s impossible. We ordered fries to go at 8:00 p.m., and I was told that takeout orders wouldn’t be ready until 9:00 p.m. Great organization!
This was my first stay at a Flower campground, and well, I’m not sure I’ll be repeating the experience. It’s a shame because your campground is in a great location on the Gulf of Morbihan.
Best regards,
As for the campground’s lighting at night, well, it’s practically nonexistent. A little light in the walkways would be nice and make it feel safer.
Finally, the pool, which is really large and beautiful. It’s a shame that the liner is greenish at the bottom of the wading pool and in many spots at the bottom of the main pool, and blackish along the edge just above the waterline (photos taken as proof). That, too, should be cleaned every day after the pool closes or in the morning before it opens.this is a translation, click here for the original
