A wonderful family vacation despite a few minor issues with comfort and cleanliness

We had a wonderful week-long family vacation with our 2-year-old child. The fact that the pool was right next to our accommodations was a real plus that we appreciated every day.

The accommodation was perfectly fine: well-appointed, functional, and perfectly suited to our needs for this trip as a family of three. As for nearby activities, although there aren’t many right next to the campground, it’s just a short drive to Saint-Michel Beach, which is excellent.

However, there are a few points that deserve special attention from the staff:

Pool access: We were disappointed that people wearing burkinis were not allowed in the pool, which unfortunately prevented my wife from enjoying it with us.

Cleanliness and cleaning supplies: Upon arrival, we noticed that the sofa cushions were very dusty and covered in pet hair, likely left behind by previous guests with pets. In addition, a mop (in addition to the broom provided) would have been essential for properly maintaining the apartment during the week, especially with a young child.

Bathroom: The shower was quite difficult to adjust, switching abruptly between very hot and very cold, which made it hard to get lukewarm water.

Parking signage: Since the number on our parking spot had been torn off, we unintentionally parked in the spot reserved for our neighbors. They very kindly pointed this out to us, but putting the number back up would prevent this confusion for future guests.

Overall, our experience was positive, and we have very fond memories of our vacation!

Neat campground, great facilities, the rental tent was very clean.
The location could have been a bit nicer; you don’t really get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. That’s a shame.
I also missed the real camping experience a bit because at least 90% of the site consists of mobile homes. No regular campers.
But, compared to the negative reviews from a few years ago, it’s a huge improvement!
Everything is neat, in good condition, and I was treated very well.
