A pleasant campground because we had plenty of shade. Nice pool. Clean restrooms. Just a stone's throw from the village and close to Chambord, with a nice bike path leading there.

We stayed at the campground in August and don’t plan on going back.
Hygiene in the common areas is highly questionable, as cleaning is rarely scheduled.
You have to beg for toilet paper in the restrooms of the common area (there wasn’t any the day before, and there still wasn’t any by late morning the next day—which leads me to believe those restrooms weren’t cleaned during that time).
The dishwashing area was clogged—the water wouldn’t drain, and food was floating in it. It took two days to unclog the whole thing.
We spent exactly five minutes in the pool because the water was murky. Luckily, there’s a public pool right next door.
One evening, we went for a drink at the bar and had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to order... All in all, it’s a shame because the campground’s natural setting is nice, but it certainly shouldn’t come at the expense of hygiene.

The tent setup was not worth the price; the quality was truly poor.

Breakfast cost €10—it was basic and served without any warmth.

Bottom line: for €1,000 a week, I’m frankly disgusted.

A great starting point for exploring the castles of the Loire Valley. In particular, the highlight—Château de Chambord—is just 9 km away by bike. A clean campground with very large sites, well-maintained restrooms in sufficient numbers, and a cozy common area with dining options and an evening entertainment program. There’s even a chocolate shop right next door! Highly recommended! The town of Bracieux seems very quiet. However, there is a small supermarket and a few restaurants in the town center.
