Waterfalls of Tendon
"La Cascade de Tendon" are 2 beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the forest. At 35 meters, the large waterfall is the highest in the entire Vosges Mountains. Follow a rocky path along the gently flowing mountain river Scouet and climb to the base of the waterfall in a few minutes. The water cascades down through a high, rugged rock face amid the green jungle. Want to see more? Then climb a slightly steeper, rocky path to the top of the waterfall. At the top of the big waterfall is even a mountain restaurant.
Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park
This protected nature reserve in the Vosges Mountains covers an area of about 55,000 hectares and is known for its beautiful landscapes of rolling hills, forests and meadows. The park is home to various plant and animal species, including rare and endangered species such as the black stork and the European wild cat. Do you enjoy hiking? Then you are in the right place as the park has many different hiking trails, ranging from easy nature walks to challenging mountain treks, with beautiful viewpoints. Or hop on a bike and tour the beautiful natural landscape. For the truly adventurous, there is a range of outdoor activities such as rock climbing, paragliding and hang gliding. Nice campground with clean restrooms
However, it got very hot late at night during our stay—some young people were riding electric scooters in the restrooms.

Well… we came because everyone said the campground was quiet… unfortunately, we weren’t so lucky. It’s great that it’s a family-friendly campground, but unfortunately we were parked next to a family whose baby cried for a long time every night and every morning… Well, it’s a baby, so there’s not much you can say. The final straw was the game of pétanque in the paths right in front of our site at 8:30 a.m. with kids… Add to that the shouting starting at 8 a.m. and the dogs barking back and forth at each other starting at 7 a.m.… In short, we came here for some peace and quiet… but we experienced everything except peace and quiet.
The footbath is very dirty, and so is the pool—there are band-aids and clumps of hair floating in it.
You might say… “Why the good rating, then?” Because the noise isn’t the managers’ fault… and because you can tell they’re doing their best to keep the place clean—and, given the high volume of guests and all the kids, that’s no small feat.
My advice: avoid the area by the stream if you want true peace and quiet, and make sure to bring cash for all on-site payments. We’ll happily come back outside of school vacation periods.this is a translation, click here for the original
Bon .. nous sommes venus parce que tout le monde disait que le camping était calme .. nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu cette chance. Être un camping familial c’est super, mais malheureusement nous étions placés a côtés d'une famille dont le bebe pleurait longuement tous les soirs et tous les matins.. alors bon c’est un bébé, on ne peut trop rien dire. Le coup de grâce fût la partie de petanque dans les allées devant notre emplacement a 8h30 avec des enfants.. ajouter a ca les cris dès 8h, les aboiement de chiens qui se répondent entre eux dès 7h.. bref, nous venions pour avoir du calme et du repos ..nous avons goûté a tout sauf au calme.
Le pediluve est très sale et la piscine également, il y flote pansements et touffes de cheveux.
Vous allez me dire.. Pourquoi une bonne note du coup ? Parce que le bruit n'est pas de le faute des gérants.. et parce qu'on sent qu’ils font du mieux qu'ils peuvent pour garder les lieuc propres et pour le reste en période de forte affluence, avec pleins d'enfants.
Mon conseil : éviter le coin du ruisseau si vous voulez du vrai calme et prévoyez des espèce pour tous les règlements sur place. Nous reviendrons avec joie hors période de vacances scolaires -

Too expensive for a 3-star campground.
It’s one of the most expensive campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. The value for money is clearly out of balance. Children’s activities require a fee, Wi-Fi costs extra, and the restrooms are too small and therefore only moderately clean. Minimal hospitality and no customer service. C'est l'un des campings le plus cher que nous ayons fréquenté. Le rapport qualité prix est clairement déséquilibré. Jeux payants pour les enfants, Wi-Fi payant, sanitaires sous-dimensionnés donc moyennement propres. Accueil minimaliste et relation commerciale absente. Dommage car le site est agréable.
