Don't forget to try the delicious Alsatian beers and wines. Let your taste buds be surprised by the unique and flavorful cuisine of Alsace!

Visit the museums
Are you looking for a cultural experience in Strasbourg? Then be sure to visit this city's museums! Discover the Musée Alsacien for a look at local traditions, or explore the Palais Rohan with its archaeological museum, museum of decorative arts and museum of fine arts. For a modern touch, head to the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The Historical Museum of Strasbourg is also a must-see!
Imperial district
Explore the "Neustadt," Strasbourg's imperial German quarter, and admire the impressive buildings from the late 19th century, built in honor of the Kaiser. This district beautifully demonstrates how German and French influences come together and make Strasbourg a unique city. Don't miss the Place de la République, the majestic Palace of the Rhine, the National Library, the University and the National Theater of Strasbourg. Stroll the streets and be amazed by its rich history and beautiful architecture. This district offers a fascinating glimpse into an important piece of Strasbourg's past and is an absolute must-see during your visit to the city.
Cathedral of Notre-Dame
Strasbourg's Notre-Dame Cathedral is an absolute must-see with its impressive height of 142 meters. Climb the platform at 66 meters for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. A good tip: on the first Sunday of every month, admission is free. In the heart of the city, around the cathedral, you'll find wonderful sights like Maison Kammerzell, one of Strasbourg's most famous buildings, now a popular restaurant. Explore the charming streets and famous squares such as Place du Château with the Palais Rohan, Place Gutenberg, Place Kléber and Place du Marché-aux-cochons-de-lait. The city center of Strasbourg is rich in history and culture, and well worth a visit.

The campsite itself is really nice, clean and well located - and the website is also very well designed. Unfortunately, there is a clear lack of customer service: three emails went unanswered. The lady at reception was polite, but without any real warmth - there's just a lack of love for the guest. We had rented a Schindler trolley; unfortunately, the bed linen in one of the trolleys was dirty and even torn. Too bad, with a little more care and friendliness this would really be a great place!

The wooden cottage was not clean, sometimes a bit disgusting. The sanitary facilities (as so often in France) were so extremely disgusting, it was an imposition. The wifi didn't work and unfortunately nobody at reception was interested and we were just put off.
