Imperial district

Explore the "Neustadt," Strasbourg's imperial German quarter, and admire the impressive buildings from the late 19th century, built in honor of the Kaiser. This district beautifully demonstrates how German and French influences come together and make Strasbourg a unique city. Don't miss the Place de la République, the majestic Palace of the Rhine, the National Library, the University and the National Theater of Strasbourg. Stroll the streets and be amazed by its rich history and beautiful architecture. This district offers a fascinating glimpse into an important piece of Strasbourg's past and is an absolute must-see during your visit to the city.

Cathedral of Notre-Dame

Strasbourg's Notre-Dame Cathedral is an absolute must-see with its impressive height of 142 meters. Climb the platform at 66 meters for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. A good tip: on the first Sunday of every month, admission is free. In the heart of the city, around the cathedral, you'll find wonderful sights like Maison Kammerzell, one of Strasbourg's most famous buildings, now a popular restaurant. Explore the charming streets and famous squares such as Place du Château with the Palais Rohan, Place Gutenberg, Place Kléber and Place du Marché-aux-cochons-de-lait. The city center of Strasbourg is rich in history and culture, and well worth a visit.

My stage and I are currently on a stage trip, and my friends and I are currently sitting in the main area of our bungalow at half past midnight trying to reach our teachers as we have TWO giant spiders in one of the bedrooms. We have a False Widow, which is apparently poisonous (but not life threatening, thankfully), or a Grass Spider, which is apparently very fast. None of us dare even set foot in the bedroom. Despite all this, we are relatively happy with the property, despite the phobia we all actually have of spiders.

Arrived by camper van, campsite "almost" full, pitches are small but proportionate, services still a bit slow in April but the location of the campsite for visiting the town is really TOP! A pleasant stay with the bare minimum.

The only campsite in Strasbourg, it's fairly close to the city center and its sights, and the streetcar and bike path are right in front of it. However, the pitches are expensive, and as is often the case with these city campsites, it's noisy, with trains, planes and freeways all nearby! We regret having to ask for the Utopia card twice.
