The campsite is beautifully situated high in the Vosges mountains, surrounded by greenery with spacious, well-marked pitches offering plenty of privacy. Guests praise the excellently maintained sanitary facilities spread throughout the grounds, always close to your pitch. The swimming pool and swimming pond with inflatable climbing structures provide refreshment, although the pool is on the small side for the size of the campsite. The friendly staff contribute to a relaxing stay in this peaceful, nature-rich environment.

A campground where you have to pay for everything in cash! No lunch service. As for the pool: they really need to do some renovations! The foot-rinsing basin (with very dirty, black water) and the uneven floor tiles—I almost fell. It’s clearly stated that inflatable rings and the like are prohibited, but apparently people can’t read. And there’s no supervision from the staff! And what about the Germans and Dutch (who were really too old for this place) who leave their kids unsupervised and let them run wild in the kids’ play area, where the little ones take over the trampolines! And the attractions in the kids’ area! I even had to take my grandchildren away from there!! All the way to the showers, where they tried to open the doors and ran off!! And all weekend long, we didn’t see a single staff member on the premises! I think management should perhaps take a hard look at itself! It’s a shame because the setting could be pleasant! My criticism is meant to be constructive!!!

I'm really disappointed—the pool is tiny, it's impossible to swim because it's so crowded, there are no real rules for the slide, and no one is there to supervise—it's total chaos. The campground should have been privatized, Dutch-style!!

We have had a nice vacation at this camping. There are options for food, icecream and to order bread for the next morning.
The rentals are very close to one another, but we were lucky to have nice neighbours.
The "lake" on the campsite is much smaller than we thought, but is good for swimming en chilling, not for supping. The pool is busy and the surrounding of the pool is not very attractive to sit and relax, though it was nice to have a pool on the campsite with a very nice waterslide, that gave very much fun for the kids.
Nice animation for kids and families. -

Camping: Clean spots.
Sanitaire: Every evening the toilets are running out of toiletpaper. But the toilets are most of the time clean.
Animation: Not much to so. Most of the animation is already full, weeks before you are arriving. So you can not participate.
Restaurant: Only opens a few days a week.
Pizzaria: Open till 20:45 but they close them early so you can not order at 20:30 of earlier. "The chef has desided" is the answer.
Barbecue: not aloud.
Swimmingpool: Way to small for the amount of people who are camping here.
Trampoline: Way to small for the kids. They have to wait hours to get on.
Location: Super nice environment. Nice things to see around the area.
So this was a one time trip to La Steniole. -
