Nancy is known worldwide as one of the most important centers of Art Nouveau. A visit to the Musée de l’École de Nancy shows how artists and designers at the beginning of the twentieth century developed a completely new style that is still visible in the city today. The famous Villa Majorelle is also one of the highlights and offers a wonderful glimpse into this artistic period. Park 2545 is conveniently located near Nancy with good bus connections and is appreciated for its spacious, shaded pitches and green, peaceful atmosphere. Guests praise the friendly staff at reception and cleaning services, as well as the covered swimming pool and reasonably priced restaurant. However, sanitary facilities are a major concern: guests complain about outdated, insufficient and often dirty amenities, inconsistent hot water supply and maintenance shortcomings.

Many people use this campground for just one night. That’s why it’s always busy. We also stayed two nights in the front section; the sites are barely separated from one another. There were numerous mix-ups when assigning sites—the numbers weren’t always clearly identifiable—or people just ignored the numbers and took the best spot they could find.

The restrooms didn't even have toilet seats. The urinals were either blocked off with wooden panels or had even been removed. That meant men had to relieve themselves standing up, and others were then expected to sit down there. It was correspondingly unsanitary. <
The pool was great. But even there, hygiene in the surrounding area wasn’t great.this is a translation, click here for the original

This is our third time here; unfortunately, the campground is starting to show its age. A 25-meter power cord isn’t necessarily enough, and many of the power outlets only work partially. You have to hunt for water—there aren’t any water spigots (anymore). The water at the sinks is warm or hot, which is nice, but a pain if you want to fill up your camper’s water tank. There are only four men’s restrooms on the entire site; all the urinals have been removed, there was algae in the pool, and the chemical toilet is very far away. Bread isn’t available until nine, and people end up waiting in line forever.
Still, the place gets packed every night—all with people staying just one night.this is a translation, click here for the original

Great for a stopover; some sites are under trees, and they’re very spacious. There’s a small swimming pool. The restroom facilities are adequate—sometimes with soap and toilet paper, sometimes without. The showers are sometimes hot, sometimes cold. The staff sometimes can’t keep up with demand. You can pre-order bread the night before. There’s a good bus connection to downtown Nancy. It’s about 7 km by bike—not really bike-friendly, and the return trip is constantly uphill. Overall, the campground is definitely worth recommending for 2–3 nights.

A nice campsite with a bistro and pool, perfect for exploring Nancy. It’s mainly used for stopovers on the way to or from France. We stayed there for two nights and were surprised at how empty it was after our late breakfast. After our city tour, the campground was full again. After one day, we asked the friendly and hardworking campground attendant if we could extend our stay, which wasn’t a problem. As for the restrooms, we can only say that they were good compared to other campgrounds in France. There was hot water available, though not always during peak hours, and they were clean as well. Unfortunately, the shower stalls hadn’t been cleaned yet, unlike the other stalls. Having only two toilets per washhouse was, of course, a bit sparse, as was the toilet paper. The showers are typical for France, though there was a lack of shelves and hooks. There’s still room for improvement there. You can choose any spot in your block if you arrive early enough. Reservations are also possible. If you prefer a quieter spot, go for the ones in the back
. All in all, a decent campground.this is a translation, click here for the original
