    Excellent shuttle bus into Paris for a small fee. Can walk into Central Paris from the shuttle drop-off without using the Metro. Excellent choice for central Paris. Expensive but good value for location.

    We would have liked to spend a week here to explore Paris at our own pace, but while making the reservation, we decided against this campground after all.
    This decision was based solely on financial reasons; we can’t comment on anything else about the campground since we’ve never been there.

    The bill for US (Dethleffs Alpa I7820 … motorhome, 8.55 m, 5.7 t, 3 axles, 2 adults, 2 dogs) looks like this (all prices are PER DAY!):

    Classic parking spot: 33.30€—all good.
    Dog (we have 2) 5.50 each – still okay
    Electricity 9.10 – expensive, but Paris – still okay
    Surcharge for over 3.5t 6.90 – not okay
    Surcharge for rear dual axle 44.70 - NOT OK at all

    As I said, all amounts are per day, including the surcharges!

    We find it outrageous when such amounts are charged as daily surcharges without even taking the actual size or weight into account (see also the French highway toll).
    A 12-meter liner weighing 18 metric tons with 2 axles is 44.70 cheaper per day than we are.
    We’re definitely not going there.

    By the way, there’s a location in Strasbourg that’s part of the same chain, but without these rip-off surcharges...

    Wir hätten hier gerne eine Woche verbracht um uns in Ruhe Paris anzuschauen, aber während der Buchung haben wir uns dann doch von diesem Platz distanziert.
    Dies hat ausschließlich finanzielle Gründe, alles Andere vor Ort können wir nicht beurteilen, da wir noch nie auf diesem Platz waren.

    Die Rechnung für UNS (Wohnmobil Dethleffs Alpa I7820, 8,55m 5,7t, 3 Achsen, 2 Erwachsene, 2 Hunde) sieht so aus (alle Preise sind PRO TAG!):

    Stellplatz Classic 33,30€ - alles ok.
    Hund (wir haben 2) je 5,50 - noch ok
    Strom 9,10 - teuer, aber Paris - noch ok
    Zuschlag für über 3,5t 6,90 - nicht ok
    Zuschlag für Doppelachse hinten 44,70 - GARNICHT ok

    Wie gesagt, alle Summen sind pro Tag, auch die Zuschläge!

    Wir empfinden es als Frechheit wenn man solche Summen als tägliche Zuschläge verlangt und nichtmal nach der echten Größe oder gar Gewicht einstuft (siehe auch die französische Autobahnmaut).
    Ein 12m Liner mit 18 Tonnen und 2 Achsen ist da 44,70 / Tag billiger als wir.
    Hier fahren wir definitiv nicht hin.

    Nebenbei ist in Straßburg ein Platz der gleichen Kette, hier aber ohne diese Abzockaufschläge...

    We had a wonderful stay
    . The campground is very welcoming. The sites near the entrance are very quiet. Be aware that it’s noisier toward the back of the campground because of the road. Dogs are not allowed on the shuttle, even if they’re muzzled. The metro station is a 45-minute walk away... The campground is very clean and has a very cozy atmosphere.

    Très bon séjour
    Le camping est très accueillant. Les emplacements près de l entrée sont très calmes. Attention plus bruyant au fond du camping du fait de la route. Navette non accessible aux chiens même muselés. La station de metro est à 45 mn à pied ... camping très propre et ambiance très cosy
