Well placed for visiting Versailles. We went there in cc one weekend, ground boeux and chaotic, night about quiet despite the trains . On the other hand when one is proud of his water consumption one checks the taps which leak🤔. There are many showers that don't work, no jets and cold, at the beginning of the season it's a shame. Pizzas bof, we took a royal, no mushrooms and not overcooked, glass of rosé 6 euros, too expensive, but hey it's Versailles 😁. Restaurant team too young, should put a former,😉 or train them better advice. Overall good stay, a few things to review.

Good reception at the front desk. Very pleasant. It is not easy to find the plot. Even if an employee in his cart sees you lost, he won't help you. If you go in summer the site is ideal, lots of shade, but if you do it after a few rains the plots are muddy and delimited with reluctance. Very good for cycling to Versailles, and very good to go by train to the Eiffel Tower, the station is a five minute walk and the train leaves you almost under the tower. Clean and well designed bathrooms. Good bar

Buen bar

Location - 10/10 The location can't be faulted - 6 minute drive or 45 minute walk to the Palace of Versailles & 10 minute walk to the station for a 25 minute train ride to the Eiffel tower. Price - 7/10 Expensive as you might imagine €61 per night but hotels are not cheap either. Facilities - 6/10 (8/10 for families) The 3 shower & toilet blocks are quite good for France. The toilets are open to the air but the showers are indoors; as usual all facilities are unisex. The pitches are quite large but some oddly shaped, the ground is bare earth, uneven, hard for tent pegs & muddy when wet. The site is mostly under tree cover, which sounds nice & will be cooler in summer but brings with it bird & sap issues. The site layout feels haphazard & is cramped. There is only one service point for water, grey water & chemical toilets. There is a swimming pool & some good amenities for kids, along with a bar & café

The location is ideal for exploring Paris by public transport. And of course Versailles. The paths for maneuvering are quite narrow and the number of sanitary buildings is small compared to the number of visitors. But otherwise top notch.

This is a great campsite! Its in a little forested area so all the pitches are in between trees. The washing facilities are in a little log cabin and everything was nice and clean, and the water was hot :) On site there is a bar and restaurant m, swimming pool and free games and activities to play, like table tennis and boules. Location wise it is just a 20 minute walk to Viroflay station, from where you can get to Paris in another 20 minutes - so its a great base for a city visit. If you are driving the site is outside if the Crit'Air zone so thats handy. If you driving from the North and are over 2m high (like us) then you will need to avoid the last bit of the A18 as there is a 2m height restriction. In summary, this is the perfect place to camp for a trip to Paris and i am sure we will be back :)

It is a very nice place and ideal for getting to Paris quickly. The showers at our place need some maintenance. The shower building itself looks very atmospheric, all made of wood which I personally find more atmospheric than concrete.
