The campground’s location is excellent for a long weekend in Versailles.

Some of the sites are very difficult for RVs, especially those without a mover or leveling system. Everything is sloped and uneven. The surface is dusty forest soil. There is no meadow or grass. No water at the campsites.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The showers are completely inadequate. There aren’t enough showers, and the water is often not hot but alternates between lukewarm and cold. The showers in the lower washhouse are encrusted with limescale, and very little water comes out. There’s also not enough lighting in the washhouses, both in the showers and in the restrooms.

Overall, the campground is cozy and well-located, but WAY too expensive for the sites offered and the poor quality of the restroom facilities.

Two nights for two adults and two children, a trailer, and a car cost over 200 euros.

Last year, we spent exactly the same two days at Camping De Paris—cheaper and much better.

It was a wonderful stay, and we had everything we needed.

The sites are on the small side or not very practical in terms of size. Our folding trailer barely fit, and that was with the awning instead of the front tent. Be sure to bring stabilizing equipment because the sites aren’t level.

The restrooms were clean, but unfortunately, except for one shower, the water in the showers and for washing dishes was lukewarm instead of hot.

The pool was a nice temperature, though. It’s great that there’s all kinds of play equipment available for kids.

In principle, Paris is easily accessible, but unfortunately, the station that was a 10-minute walk away was closed this summer. The next station is really far away, or it involves a long journey with several bus transfers. So that was a huge bummer. With young children, we therefore opted for a paid parking garage at the station. It’s pricey, but better than having to walk 25 minutes back with tired kids after a day in Paris. It’s a shame, because for us, being close to the metro was the reason we chose this campground.

A charming, small-scale campground with a variety of accommodations and campsites. A cozy central plaza, close to the train station for trips to Paris and within biking distance of Versailles.

Great place, nice camps we had a little house camp. Pre ordering breakfast was good. Nice games available for all and the pool was nice, Only slight issue the drive to the entrance quite tight. Very nice though and would stay again 👍
