The park is ideally located in the heart of the Dordogne, with many attractions nearby. Guests particularly appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the peaceful atmosphere, and the shaded pitches. However, there are serious concerns about the condition of the pool (too cold, outdated, sometimes empty), the cleanliness of sanitary facilities and accommodations, and the general maintenance of the grounds. Some guests report that a busy road divides the park in two, which is perceived as unsafe. The campsite has potential but requires investment.

This campground is a total no-go—it clearly doesn't deserve a single star: service—0, hospitality—0, activities—0, cleanliness—0. Seriously, everything is a zero. I really don't recommend this campground to anyone—not even my worst enemy. What a place!

We stayed for 2 nights. The spot by the pool (the pool was in poor condition and very run-down) was in a pretty good location. The restrooms were very dirty during the 3 days we were there. The showers were clogged. No toilet paper (you’d better make sure not to forget it!!!). We had to cross the road to get to the front desk and the bar-restaurant; the crosswalk wasn’t safe, and there was no lighting. The restrooms at the bar were very dirty and smelly.
Part of the outdoor terrace had an unbearable sewer smell. The activities listed on the program didn’t take place??
We appreciate the staff’s kindness, but unfortunately we won’t be coming back. The photos on the website don’t reflect reality.

Appalling hygiene, dilapidated and non-functional furniture and appliances: two rusty electric hot plates, a refrigerator that didn’t work on the first day (including the night), a microwave with as much grease inside as you’d find in a slab of bacon, no kettle, the ceiling of the small patio crumbling; as soon as we arrived: the floor inside the cabin was caked with grime (my children’s soles were black within five minutes of taking off their shoes upon arrival), and there was hair in the shower, in the sink, etc. No Wi-Fi or cell service: to get information on nearby activities—since there was no Wi-Fi, and since I couldn’t get any information at the front desk (other than brochures on activities 45 minutes away from the campground)— I had to rely on my own resources using my cell phone whenever I managed to get a signal—that is, outside the cabin and only intermittently, to top it all off. Fortunately, the staff was very friendly and did their best to meet guests’ expectations, with the limited resources at their disposal… But given the reception and accommodations at this campground, I had very low expectations. We spent as much time as possible outside the campground to avoid having to endure the unbearable (the smell of dampness and mold as soon as the cabin was left closed for a few hours). Hygiene shouldn’t be a luxury. Unfortunately, that’s how my children and I felt (even though they’re used to simple living without much comfort). That’s also why we stayed for a few days, taking advantage of some activities in the towns surrounding the campground. So we left two days early, and given the current economic climate, that should have been a sacrifice. But it was a relief to leave this campground, which was as repulsive as it was dysfunctional. The managers—who are the owners of this place—should be ashamed to continue operating it. The one bright spot: the quality of the pizzas made by the restaurant owners, who have nothing to do with the campground but were on-site. Even they ended up leaving... A word of warning to anyone who wants to enjoy a good vacation in decent, clean accommodations where the bare minimum isn’t left to guesswork. This review will likely disappear under a flood of positive reviews from people who have everything to gain from customers flocking in… I’ve done my part by writing this review (though I did my best to find the positives). A customer who won’t be coming back!

We had a nice stay—just one downside: the restrooms weren’t clean, there weren’t enough showers for the number of campers, and the pool could use some renovation
. Thanks to the whole team, and have a greatend of the season to everyone—best of luck!
