Camping Les Franquettes is highly appreciated for its welcoming staff and owners, who are often personally involved and quick to resolve issues. The heated pool with seven slides is a highlight for children, as are the entertainment programme and family atmosphere. Guests praise the tranquillity, cleanliness and shaded setting, but also mention areas for improvement such as unreliable wifi, limited bar-restaurant opening hours, and concerns about safety and cleanliness in some accommodations.

    A true family campground.

We had requested a large site for our trailer—it was perfect and nicely shaded.

We received a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived.

The restroom facilities are fairly new, very clean, and there’s always toilet paper available—which isn’t always the case everywhere. And as a nice bonus, with each site you get access to a “private, numbered” restroom shared with just one other site, which is quite pleasant.

The pool is heated and really pleasant, with enough lounge chairs for everyone at any time of day. The water slides are fun for kids and teens.

There’s entertainment every night, though a small party just for teens would be nice so they can get to know each other.

A very nice bar with affordable prices, snacks, pizzas, cocktails, ice cream, and afternoon treats, and staff who were always smiling and very attentive to our needs.

One minor downside: there were a lot of wasps, bees, and horseflies that made our stay a bit unpleasant, especially at the pool—we got a ton of stings. It wasn’t their fault, but the front desk has everything you need to treat them and they’re quick to help.

We had a great stay at this campground—it has a lively atmosphere but is quiet enough at night, and the staff makes sure of that...

The owners are always available and very friendly; you really feel at home at this cozy, intimate campground.

Maybe we’ll be back next year so the kids can see their friends again.

I spent a week with my kids; the campground is nice, and our mobile home had everything we needed. However, there were a lot of bees and wasps; the kids were only able to use one of the slides once because the others were empty every day due to the large numbers of bees and wasps. Many children got stung every day, including my daughter. They have equipment to extract the venom and some Apaisil—it’s great; it really helps the kids feel better. They also put up window screens in the bedrooms.
In short, the campground is nice, but unfortunately the bugs keep you from enjoying it fully.

We just spent a week on a tent site at a great, family-friendly campground with an amazing activity leader; all the staff went out of their way to take care of us, and both kids and parents were treated like royalty. Kudos to the manager and the whole team!

After my two-week stay at this campground, I LOVED it—once you get there, you don’t want to leave. The staff is always friendly, pleasant, and smiling, life is good here, and for kids (young and old), there’s plenty to do—from the slides to karaoke nights and other activities, plus the playground. For anyone who loves camping, go for it—you won’t regret it! And thanks again for this wonderful stay—I can’t wait for next year!
