You’ll walk a well-marked loop around the lake in about 2.5 hours, where you can spot plenty of birds along the way and enjoy wide views over the water and surrounding fields. Bring a picnic or rest on one of the benches along the path. This walk is ideal for discovering the local flora and fauna and truly unwinding in a peaceful, natural environment.

Climb, jump and play in the adventure park of Bazas

Just a 15-minute drive from Domaine EcÔtelia, you’ll find Parc de Loisirs à Bazas – a true paradise for families packed with action and fun. This adventure park offers climbing courses among the trees, zip lines, bouncy castles, mini golf, and a play area with water and sand. Children from 3 years old can already join in with age-appropriate activities, while older kids (and parents!) can push their limits on the higher courses. The park is beautifully situated in the forest, so you can find some cool shade even on a warm day. Perfect for an afternoon change of pace after a relaxing morning at the estate.     We had a very pleasant stay at Écotelia, a gift for our wedding. We enjoyed this getaway for two in the trapper’s cabin, surrounded by nature. The Nordic bath on the terrace was a real treat! The breakfasts and the evening meal basket were very good. With the sun shining and lovely walks through the surrounding villages, we’re leaving with wonderful memories.

    Un très agréable séjour à Écotelia, offert à l’occasion de notre mariage. Nous avons apprécié cette parenthèse à deux dans la cabane de trappeur, au cœur de la nature. Le bain nordique sur la terrasse était un vrai plaisir ! Les petits déjeuners et le panier repas du soir étaient très bons. Avec le soleil au rendez-vous et de jolies balades dans les villages alentour, nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs.

    A unique experience in a treehouse. Well-appointed and picturesque. I’m not a fan of dry toilets, though—they’re impractical and pretty smelly... My eco-conscious side doesn’t extend that far.
