Have you always wanted to sleep in a treehouse?

The Boomhut - Château offers a unique experience. A stay high up, amidst the greenery of the trees and the birds. Suitable for a family of four or four friends.

A terrace, or balcony, where you can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee. Order a meal or aperitif and have it delivered to your hut via a basket on a cable system. The accommodation has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The sleeping area has a double bed (160x200) and a bunk bed (90x190). There is no kitchen. Make use of the order baskets and fully relax during your time in nature.

The tree castles with their little towers offer a glimpse into the history of the Aquitaine region. The Gascogne castle is a nod to the historical past of this region, which was conquered by the Vascones, who came from the Iberian Peninsula and gave the region its name. Gascogne is known as a region inhabited by a stubborn and independent people. After the Treaty of Paris in 1259, the Duchy of Aquitaine became known as the Duchy of Guyenne—a term that at that time referred to all French possessions of the King of England. The Guyenne castle is thus also a reminder of this old region, whose name originated from the evolution of the word Aquitaine in the 12th and 13th centuries, and refers to the many forts. The Gascogne and Guyenne castles of Domaine EcÔtelia invite you to rediscover life above ground.

    Domaine EcÔtelia Cancellation Policy


    Cancellation

    Any reservation with an outstanding balance in accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale will be cancelled.

    In case of cancellation, ECOTELIA will retain an amount depending on the cancellation date:

    • More than 45 days before the date, 10% will be charged for administration costs.

    • Between 45 days and 30 days before the stay: 30% of the rental price.

    • Less than 30 days in advance, ECOTELIA will retain the rental amount.

    For any unreported delay, the rental will be made available twelve hours after the arrival date stated on the reservation contract. After the deadline, and without written notice, the reservation will be cancelled and the amounts due will be retained.

    For a group reservation or a privatization of the Domaine, any booking is final and definitive. You cannot cancel a stay afterward or change the number of reserved accommodations.

    Superb experience and it pains me a little to take away a star, but I can't avoid talking about the hunters all around the estate who shoot all day long. You can hear the rifles firing and dozens of dogs barking until nightfall. The site is incredible, and the accommodation is very cosy and clean. The wellness area is top-notch and the meal baskets are just right. Special mention for the breakfasts! The welcome is impeccable and the staff very friendly and helpful. An experience I highly recommend for those sensitive to the charms of nature.

    Superbe expérience et ça me fait un peu mal au cœur d’enlever une étoile mais je ne peux pas ne pas parler des chasseurs tout autour du domaine qui tirent à longueur de journée. On entend les coup de fusils et les chiens par dizaines aboyer jusqu’à la tombe de la nuit. Le site est incroyable, les hébergements très cosis et très propres. L’espace bien être est top et les paniers repas largement à la hauteur. Mention spéciale pour les petits dej !! L’accueil est nickel et les employé(e)s sont très aimables et serviables. Une expérience que je recommande vivement pour les personnes sensibles aux charmes de la nature.

    We spent a magical night together in a yurt at Domaine EcÔtelia. The place is absolutely charming, quiet and in the middle of nature, ideal for recharging your batteries and disconnecting from the world. The yurt was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The welcome was warm, smiling and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A very nice unusual experience that we recommend without hesitation and would love to experience again! 🌿✨

    Having stayed at the Riad (the accommodation offered by the site), I can tell you that everything was spot-on, from hygiene to human contact. The riad was spotless, and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The staff were even very understanding when I made a mistake and helped me to put things right.
