We had a very pleasant week at La Canadienne campground, staying in a beautiful, brand-new premium mobile home (Home Flower).

It’s just a shame that the new mobile homes are arranged in such a way that they’re quite close to the others.

It’s a small, intimate campground with plenty of shade.
The pool could use a little sprucing up, though, as you can tell it’s seen better days.

We really enjoyed the quality of the food served at the restaurant (pizzas, burgers, themed dishes...).

The campground’s location is ideal for accessing the basin’s bike paths, and it’s also just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful Grand Crohot beach.

We’ll be happy to stay here again when we return to the basin 🙂

A pleasant, well-maintained campground. The staff was very, very friendly. We encountered an issue with our mobile home upon arrival. We were quickly relocated to a more comfortable mobile home. Themed evening activities. For the mussels-and-fries night, there was a long wait, but to make up for it, they offered me a drink to help me pass the time. I thought that was very professional. The campground is quiet and close to downtown. The only downside was the lack of a small convenience store.

We were supposed to stay for 10 days, but unfortunately, due to the wildfires, our stay was cut short. Perfect campsite 👍—a wonderful welcome in every way. A lovely housekeeper. The only downside was the restaurant, which isn’t fully managed by the campground; the staff there lacks professionalism, which is a shame. However, I wanted to thank the campground manager for how she handled things during the wildfires—she was wonderful, responsive, and attentive. A big thank you. We’d love to come back. Best of luck to you all

This is our fifth summer at La Canadienne, and this time we were somewhat disappointed!
One positive: the Freecamp area—very convenient and brand-new. It spared us from having to use the aging restrooms. Warm welcome from the staff.
Very disappointed with the pool—it was dirty (murky water, hair, and bugs)—and the lounge chairs and umbrellas were worn out and not nearly enough for the number of guests.
The restaurant didn’t stick to its opening hours (it was closed every single time we wanted to have a coffee or get an ice cream!), and there was no atmosphere.
Campsites are becoming increasingly scarce year after year, replaced by mobile homes. It feels like the priority is on profitability.

The snack bar is often closed during peak hours.
The front desk is often closed in the summer and a bit understaffed. An emergency number is listed but goes unanswered.
The entertainment staff are friendly and do their best to liven up the campground despite the hiccups.
    The weekly program isn’t followed.
The cleanliness of the pool leaves much to be desired (grime on the surface and lots of hair floating in the water).
We booked a “freecamp” site with restrooms and a kitchen that were completely non-functional and dangerous. Repairs to the facility were attempted three times around 7:30 p.m. during our stay. Not very professional. And it wasn’t fully repaired.
I would not recommend this Flowers campground to any of my friends or family.
