This peaceful holiday park is located directly on Lac des Bariousses and is praised for its exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the excellent cleanliness, particularly of the modern sanitary facilities, and enjoy the heated swimming pool and safe access to the lake via a tunnel. The nature-rich, shaded location offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, hiking and water sports, with fun animations for children. Points of attention include the sometimes sloping pitches, limited privacy in some areas, and the proximity of a main road near certain pitches.

We spent 15 days in a lush green setting with a direct view of Lake Bariousse. It was peaceful at this intimate campground, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The entire campground staff was attentive, friendly, and super efficient! We alternated between paddleboarding, pedal boats, the pool, exploring the surrounding area, and hiking—whether on foot, by car, or by bike. This Flowers campground is a real hidden gem!! See you soon!!!!!

A campground we won’t be returning to
We stayed there in August 2026—3 adults and 3 children.I’m not giving it 1 star because the staff is helpful and friendly, but there are no amenities—the snack bar is rarely open, and there’s no bread or pastries (supposedly because the baker is on vacation in August).
The county road runs right past the … campground, so trucks at 7 a.m. every day woke us up; there were no brochures or even information about fishing, even though the campground is certified for fishing
The only washing machine in our restroom was broken in the middle of the season,The restroom facilities were adequate—nothing fancy but clean
On the plus side, there’s the bouncy castle for the kids, access to the lake through the tunnel, and the heated, covered pool during the off-season, which must be nice (though we didn’t try it ourselves)
With better management, it could be great—I’m really looking forward to a change in ownership, which will undoubtedly happen soon if the campground wants to survive...
In short, kudos to the staff, but still—never again....this is a translation, click here for the original
