The park is ideally located near La Flotte, within walking distance of the town centre, harbour and shops, with excellent access to cycle paths. Guests appreciate the heated swimming pool, spacious pitches and friendly staff, particularly at reception and the snack restaurant. The location and facilities such as the pool receive much praise. However, the condition of the sanitary facilities is a recurring issue: guests regularly report insufficient cleaning, dirty showers and toilets. Noise disturbances from construction work, traffic and other guests are also mentioned, as well as limited privacy due to closely positioned pitches and accommodations.

We stayed at this campground and were very disappointed: the staff wasn't welcoming, the 1.40-meter-deep pool wasn't suitable for children, the entertainment was terrible, the campsites were dusty, and, above all, the restrooms were very dirty. However, the campground is conveniently located near downtown and the beaches; it doesn't deserve a 4-star rating.

Great location and facilities for families. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our rental had drainage problems which caused issues and horrible smells but the staff were responsive to resolving it. Overall, a great stay/experience.

Campground near downtown La Flotte. The kitchen area was infested with ants, and the shower and restroom area had an unpleasant sewer smell. The footbath by the pool was very dirty—I don’t think it had ever been cleaned.

Great campsite. Im so happy we stayed here. Excellent value for money. I picked this campsite because it was the only one i could find that would let me pick my dates. Others insisted on Saturday to Saturday, which did not suit us. The location is fantastic. We were right beside my favourite town in ille de re, la flotte. The food was good too. Had the nicest mussels and chips here.

Only slight issue is that the pool was a high 140 cm throughout. 120 cm would make it much easier for children. Id definitely return here again

We had a wonderful stay at the Bel Air campground on Île de Ré! It’s a cozy campground, the staff is very friendly, and it offers plenty of services and amenities. The pool is very well designed and perfect for kids, and the restaurant is excellent and welcoming. Our rental was great—a sort of cabin or chalet, which was a nice change from the typical mobile homes. We’ll be back!

We spent a week on a spot in full sun, with no trees around and dry ground unsuitable for pitching a tent, despite our request for a shaded spot given the heat wave.
Not all the staff members were very pleasant or accommodating (no power strips available upon arrival, even though we paid for electricity?? No effort was made to find a solution).
Furthermore, the cleanliness of the restrooms leaves much to be desired and even gave us the impression that they had only been cleaned once during the week.
Luckily, the campground snack bar makes up for it! The staff is lovely and the food is excellent.
The security guard on duty in the evening is great! He really made us feel safe :)
Close to the bus line and shuttles.
