The campground and staff are very friendly. The campground is great, with a beach just 300 m away. I highly recommend it. (It’s in a great location on the island.) As for the rental, the Écolodge was spotless and very well maintained.
The only downside is the nearby road 😔😔 (and there’s traffic all night long).
Maybe they could move the … steps closer to the beach entrance or put up a wooden fence to reduce the noise 😃.
Julien’s concert was fun.

The ecolodge is spotless and very well-maintained. Camping et personnel très sympas. Le camping est top avec sa plage à 300 m. Je le recommande. ( bien placé sur l’île). Coté location l’ Écolodge était nickel et très bien entretenu.

We had a lovely week. The campground is in a great location, under the pine trees and not far from the sea.
The fact that no vehicles are allowed on the campground is a huge plus.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine. Le camping est bien situé, sous les pins et non loin de la mer.
Le fait qu’aucun véhicule ne circule dans le camping est plus qu’appréciable.
Le seul point négatif étant le ménage. Il y avait des moumoutes sous les lits, des toiles d’araignées dans les angles et nous avons dû faire les siphons. -

A wonderful campground in a beautiful, central location on Île de Ré!
The five of us stayed at Camping Les Tamarins in a premium mobile home. We were very satisfied with our stay. The mobile home was clean and tidy and equipped with window screens and blackout curtains in the bedrooms, which was especially nice during the hot … days.
The included sheet set and set of towels were also a plus. No disposable sheets, just nice, clean sheets and duvets, and comfortable pillows.
The staff was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The campground has limited vehicle traffic, which creates a peaceful and safe atmosphere. You can use luggage carts for your luggage and groceries, which is very convenient upon arrival and departure.
The campground’s location is ideal: it’s situated roughly in the center of the island, making many fun places and attractions easily accessible. The beach is about a 300-meter walk from the campground.
A tip: reserve bikes in advance! We were there during peak season and hadn’t reserved bikes beforehand. As a result, there were no bikes available upon arrival, and we couldn’t rent any nearby either. Fortunately, the campground staff were very helpful and offered a good solution. You can reach so many beautiful spots on Île de Ré by bike, and the island is perfect for it.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay. A beautiful, well-maintained campground with friendly staff, a great location, and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended for a vacation on Île de Ré!this is a translation, click here for the original
Heerlijke camping op een mooie centrale plek op Île de Ré!
Wij verbleven met vijf personen op Camping Les Tamarins in een premium stacaravan. We waren erg tevreden over ons verblijf. De stacaravan was schoon en netjes en voorzien van horren en verduistering bij de slaapkamers, wat vooral prettig was tijdens de warme dagen.
Het inbegrepen lakenpakket en de set handdoeken waren ook een pluspunt. Geen wegwerplakens, maar gewoon fijne, schone lakens en dekbedden en comfortabele kussens.
Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. De camping is autoluw, wat zorgt voor een rustige en veilige sfeer. Voor je bagage en boodschappen kun je gebruikmaken van bagagekarren, wat erg handig is bij aankomst en vertrek.
De ligging van de camping is ideaal: de camping ligt ongeveer in het midden van het eiland, waardoor veel leuke plaatsen en bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk te bereiken zijn. Het strand ligt op ongeveer 300 meter lopen van de camping.
Een tip: reserveer op tijd fietsen! Wij waren er in het hoogseizoen en hadden vooraf geen fietsen gereserveerd. Daardoor waren er bij aankomst geen fietsen meer beschikbaar en konden we ook in de omgeving niet direct fietsen huren. Gelukkig dacht het campingpersoneel goed met ons mee en boden zij een goede oplossing. Met de fiets kun je namelijk heel veel mooie plekken op Île de Ré bereiken en het eiland is daar perfect voor.
Al met al hebben wij een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Een mooie, verzorgde camping met vriendelijk personeel, een fijne ligging en een prettige sfeer. Zeker een aanrader voor een vakantie op Île de Ré! -
