General information

This safari tent of approximately 25 m² combines outdoor living with comfortable glamping accommodation. Thanks to the wooden details and the roll-up front, you can experience the real camping feeling here with the convenience of a furnished accommodation. Inside, there are two sleeping cabins with a double bed, a bunk bed and a single bed. Blankets and pillows are included. The tent has a dining area with a table and chairs and a fitted kitchen with a four-burner gas stove, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine that also boils water, and kitchen utensils.

At the front of the tent, you will find a covered veranda with a lounge set, a lovely place to have breakfast, eat together or simply relax in the open air. Thanks to the open front, indoor living flows effortlessly into outdoor living. Here you can enjoy a relaxing glamping stay in the middle of the nature of the Gard.

    The week went by way too fast. We received a wonderful welcome. The atmosphere was warm and family-like.

    We booked this campground and paid in full in advance, based on reviews and photos, but unfortunately we didn’t end up staying there! Upon arrival, we found a campground with low occupancy, messy, poorly maintained sites, and a dated reception area and restaurant. The whole place gave the impression of being neglected—overdue maintenance everywhere, with occasional traces of what must once have been a nicer campground. “Faded glory” is, I think, the best description.

    Based on this first impression, we decided to turn around immediately. The owner was unwilling to refund the full amount, including the unused electricity. We found that very disappointing!

    It’s a shame, because the location itself had potential. For now, we cannot recommend this campground.

    We hebben deze camping gereserveerd en volledig vooraf betaald, op basis van reviews en foto's maar helaas geen gebruikgemaakt van deze camping! Bij aankomst troffen we een terrein aan met lage bezetting en rommelige, slecht onderhouden plaatsen en vintage receptie/ restaurant. Het geheel maakte een verwaarloosde indruk – achterstallig onderhoud alom, met hier en daar nog sporen van wat ooit een mooiere camping moet zijn geweest. Vergane glorie is denk ik de beste omschrijving.

    Op basis van deze eerste indruk hebben we besloten direct rechtsomkeer te maken. De eigenaar was daarbij niet bereid om het volledige bedrag, inclusief het nog niet gebruikte stroomverbruik, te retourneren. Dat vonden we zeer teleurstellend!

    Jammer, want de locatie op zich had potentie. Voor nu kunnen we deze camping niet aanbevelen.

    A lovely family campground. The French family that runs it goes out of their way to make sure we have a great time.
    Generally nice, spacious sites—lovely and shaded. And that’s really nice when the sun is beating down. It’s located on a lovely river where, if you take the time to walk toward the bridge, you can enjoy a great swim—or just cool off.
    A great base for exploring the Ardèche Gorge, historic towns, a cave, or a château. There’s also a very charming little town with canals where it’s nice to go out for a meal.
    We’re here for the second time because of the peaceful atmosphere. Great for kids. I think teenagers looking for entertainment might find it a bit less appealing. But that’s just my take on it.

    In short, highly recommended with a great value for money and a nice little restaurant serving delicious food. A great base for exploring the Ardèche.

    And… a wide selection of specialty beers.

    Een fijne gezinscamping. Het Franse gezin dat het runt doet aan alle kanten hun best om het ons naar ons zin te maken.
    Fijne ruime plaatsen over het algemeen heerlijk in de schaduw. En dat is best lekker als de zon lekker prikt. Aan een fijne rivier die, als je even de moeite neemt om richting de brug te gaan ook heerlijk te bezwemmen is en anders heerlijk is om lekker in af te koelen.
    Prima uitvalsbasis voor bijvoorbeeld een bezoek aan de kloof van de Ardeche, oude stadjes, een grot of chateau. Ook is er een heel leuk stadje met grachtjes waar het leuk uit eten is.
    Wij zijn hier nu voor de tweede keer vanwege de rustige sfeer. Leuk voor kinderen. Ik denk dat tieners die op zoek zijn naar vertier het iets minder aantrekkelijk vinden. Maar dat is mijn invulling.

    Kortom, een aanrader met een prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en een leuk restaurantje met heerlijk eten. Prima uitvalbasis voor de Ardeche.

    En....een groot assortiment aan speciaalbiertjes.

    A lovely campground right on the Cèze.
    Great sites and wonderful swimming in the river.
    We came here because our French friends were staying here.
    We were here a few years ago too, but back then it wasn’t a very nice campground.
    Now there are new owners who are doing a much better job! Keep it up 😉
    The restaurant at the campground is also wonderful!

    Heerlijke camping zo aan de Ceze.
    Goede plekken en heerlijk zwemmen in de rivier.
    Wij kwamen hier omdat onze franse vrienden hier stonden.
    Een paar jaar geleden waren wij hier ook toen was het geen leuke camping.
    Nu zitten er nieuwe eigenaars in die het stukken better doen! Ga zo door 😉
    Het restaurant op de camping is ook heerlijk!

    We rented a very comfortable cabin on stilts with a view of the river. We had a truly wonderful time there—the owners went out of their way to take care of us and were incredibly welcoming. The campsites are spacious and almost all shaded; the cuisine is varied and features high-quality ingredients; the activities are top-notch; the nights are cool even during a heat wave—a haven of peace where we recharged our batteries, and we’ll definitely be back next year.

    En location en loge sur pilotis très confortable avec vue sur la riviere, nous y avons passé un moment vraiment très chaleureux les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et vraiment tres accueillant,les emplacements sont spacieux et presque tous ombragés ,la cuisine est variée avec des produits de qualités , les animations sont aux top, les nuits fraîches même en canicule , un havre de paix ou on cest ressourcé et on y retournera l'année prochaine ca cest sur .
