Get on your bike
Surrounding the glamping in Espira de Conflent are some great routes for cycling enthusiasts. These include several cycling routes in the nearby Pyrenees, such as the famous Col du Tourmalet, which has been featured in the Tour de France. The region is also home to the Voie Verte, a network of bike trails that stretches for 20 km from Ille-sur-Têt to Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, past picturesque villages and stunning natural scenery.

The Pyrénées-Orientales has a rich tradition of winemaking, and the area is best known for its sweet fortified wines, such as Banyuls and Maury, which are made from grapes grown on steep terraces overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. In the city you will find the Palace of the Kings of Majorca, a magnificent Gothic palace built in the 13th century that served as the residence of the kings of Majorca. Don't forget the city's thriving culinary scene, with local specialties such as fresh seafood, Catalan stews and an array of delicious desserts and pastries. Several cultural festivals are held throughout the year, including the Estivales de Perpignan, a summer music and art festival, and the Visa Pour l'Image, an international festival of photojournalism.

To have a fun day in the area, you don't have to drive far. Discover the impressive Grottes des Canalettes, just a 20-minute drive from Camping Canigou. These enchanting caves will amaze you with their stalactites, stalagmites and illuminated underground lakes. A special day in nature, and a magical experience for young and old alike! Another option 20 minutes away is a visit to beautiful Villefranche-de-Conflent, a medieval walled town. Prachtige camping, enorm genoten! Als je van natuur houdt zou ik het zeker aanbevelen. Goede service, schoon sanitair en mooie ruime plekken. Wij komen vast nog eens terug!

Mooie camping, zeer net en behulpzaam personeel, hele leuke animatie iedere avond en een fantastische keuken waar we heerlijk hebben gegeten.

Wij zijn hier in het voorseizoen geweest. Toen was de camping nog vrij rustig maar de service was helemaal top! Elk probleem is meteen opgepakt en ze stonden altijd klaar om vragen te beantwoorden. Daarnaast nog veel tips gekregen en de camping is ook heel hond vriendelijk wat voor ons ook heel fijn is. Kortom hele vriendelijke eigenaar die echt zijn hart in het werk heeft zitten en die je graag verder helpt. Ook heb ik nog een heerlijke fles biologische wijn gekregen voor mijn verjaardag wat laat zien hoe klant vriendelijk zij zijn.

Accueil au top! Très belle endroit, assez calme en fin de saison mais bien agréable, piscine naturel magnifique, personnel très gentil et a l'écoute, merci a toute l'équipe pour le séjour, surtout Luc pour l'activité acrobranche de nuits qui as été super! je recommande vivement !

Utrecht-Antwerp-Lille-Paris-Orléans-Bourges-Clermont-Ferrand-Béziers-Narbonne-Perpignan and then take the N 116 towards Andorra. Immediately after the town of Vinça, turn left onto the D 25. Follow the signs for Espira de Conflent and you will reach the campsite after about 5 km.
Utrecht-Maastricht-Luxembourg-Dijon-Lyon-Nîmes-Narbonne. From here follow the first mentioned route.
