The swimming pool with slides is appreciated by many guests, as are the friendly reception and staff. The location near Rocamadour and the Gouffre de Padirac is ideal for excursions. The park consists of two separate sites divided by a busy departmental road without safe crossing, which many families experience as dangerous. Animation and services differ greatly per location, with the main site 'Les Chênes' being much better equipped than 'Le Parc', which is often described as unfinished and neglected.

Very accommodating! They let me pitch my tent even though I booked at the last minute, and kindly agreed to my request to leave my car parked there for a few more days even after I’d already left the campground. I highly recommend it!

We had a very pleasant stay at Camping Le Roc and were pleasantly surprised by the value for the money. For an affordable price, the campground offers a swimming pool, a small bar next to it, and a few occasional activities. The atmosphere is very calm, family-friendly, and relaxing, which is really nice.
The campground is run by a family: a couple from Nantes, their son, and their daughter-in-law. The four of them handle practically everything, from maintenance to the front desk, as well as the bar, snack bar, and restaurant. They’re all extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful, and this really comes through in the campground’s overall atmosphere.
A few minor issues could be improved, however.
First of all, the campground is located right off the road between Padirac and Rocamadour. The road is fairly busy, and even at night, we could regularly hear cars passing just a few meters from the campsites. For those seeking absolute peace and quiet, this might be a slight drawback.
Another point that caught our attention: given the campground’s capacity, we feel that having a defibrillator on site would be reassuring and important. This would ensure that emergency equipment is readily available in case of an emergency.
Finally, the restaurant’s operations can sometimes be a bit stretched when the campground is full. Since there are only four staff members managing the entire facility, this is completely understandable. But for example, during our meal, we arrived around 7:30 p.m. when it was about 35 °C. We asked for a carafe of water as soon as we arrived, but we didn’t receive it until about twenty minutes later, just as our order was being taken. Under these conditions, it would be greatly appreciated if a carafe of water were automatically placed on the table as soon as guests arrive, especially when it’s very hot.
Ultimately, these are suggestions for improvement rather than actual complaints, as we truly enjoyed our stay. The owners, their son, and their daughter-in-law are lovely, and their kindness adds greatly to the charm of this family-friendly campground.
We’ll definitely be back! We therefore recommend this campground to anyone looking for a simple, family-friendly, quiet, and accessible place to stay—especially for exploring Padirac and Rocamadour.this is a translation, click here for the original
