A lovely, cozy campground with friendly, hardworking Dutch owners, clean restrooms, a nice pool, and great hiking opportunities—see the photos from a morning hike starting from the campground. We were escaping the heat at the end of June—sunny during the day with highs of 30 degrees, and at night we needed a comforter. That’s the advantage of being at an altitude of 1,200 meters while the rest of Europe was sweltering.
