General information

Gîte du Moulin de la Violaye is a beautifully restored 150 m² windmill, located about 25 kilometres from Nantes and within reach of La Baule. The accommodation is suitable for up to 10 guests and is a cheerful choice for a group stay, family gathering or weekend away with friends.

Inside, you’ll find a large living room, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are four spacious bedrooms with eight single beds that can be made into double beds, plus an extra bed for additional flexibility.

The gîte has three modern bathrooms, which is practical for larger groups. The ground floor is fully accessible for guests with reduced mobility and includes two bedrooms, making the accommodation suitable for different travel needs.

For extra relaxation, you can enjoy the private spa after a day out exploring the area.

Outside, there are spacious terraces where you can eat together, relax in the fresh air or enjoy the peaceful rural surroundings.

The area is great for walking, with hiking trails nearby. Nantes is close enough for a city trip, while La Baule and the coast are also within reach for a day out.

The gîte was fully renovated in 2018 and combines authentic windmill character with modern comfort. Pets are welcome.
