A very nice, well-equipped campground. However, it’s a real shame that the restrooms don’t have a steady, consistent supply of hot water. Cleanliness is average during this busy season. The pool area is very nice but, unfortunately, poorly maintained. The water is cloudy, the wading pool is dirty, and the pool decks weren’t cleaned up after the storm. Wood and leaves litter the ground. The water quality remains questionable and a cause for concern for young children. The smell of chlorine is almost unpleasant. Treating the water is fine, but it would surely be wiser to filter it more thoroughly and close the pool earlier during this heat wave.

Très beau camping bien équipé. Il est cependant bien dommage que les sanitaire ne dispose pas d’eau chaude en permanence et de façon régulière. La propreté est moyenne en cette période de forte affluence. La piscine est un très bel espace mais malheureusement mal entretenue. L’eau est trouble la pataugeoire sale et les plages ne sont pas nettoyées après l’orage. Bois et feuilles jonchent le sol. La qualité de l’eau reste douteuse et inquiétante pour de jeunes enfants. L’odeur de chlore est limite gênante. Choqué l’eau c’est bien mais il serait sûrement plus judicieux de filtrer davantage et de fermer la piscine plus tôt en c’est très fortes chaleurs.

A really nice campground in the woods, right on the lake, with a pool. The welcome was great, and there are plenty of nearby activities to keep you busy for a week without even needing to drive. It’s even better with bikes!
To make the site even better: consider adding mats or making repairs around the pool and in the footbath area—we saw a lot of people fall. And I know it’s on the to-do list, but the showers, which alternated between freezing and scalding water, were hard to control.
The food truck was very popular on Monday—perhaps you could have one more often to complement your pizza offerings?
I’ve rarely seen such clean restrooms at a campground. And the staff went above and beyond following the thunderstorm on Friday, August 14.
The pool and access to the campground’s lake were very much appreciated. Très chouette camping en forêt, au bord du lac, avec piscine. Accueil extra, activités alentours suffisantes pour une semaine sans bouger le véhicule. Avec vélos c’est encore mieux !
Afin d’améliorer encore mieux le site : prévoir des tapis ou réparations autour de la piscine et au niveau du pédiluve, nous avons assisté à de nombreuses chutes. Et je sais que c’est prévu mais les douches alternant eau gelée ou brûlante étaient difficiles à maîtriser.
Food truck très apprécié le lundi, peut-être en prévoir plus souvent pour compléter votre offre pizzas ?
Rarement vu des sanitaires aussi propres en camping. Et équipe au taquet suite à l’orage-tempête de vendredi 14 août.
Piscine ou accès au lac du camping très appréciable. Et un grand merci à la forêt qui nous a permis de mieux supporter la canicule et qui a très probablement protégé le reste du camping de la tempête (le vent est venu du lac). -

The campground setting is pleasant, but unfortunately that’s not enough to make up for the many problems we encountered.
The main issue concerns the cleanliness of the restrooms, which is truly inadequate: very dirty and blackened floors, cold water, clogged drains, and no action taken despite these problems. For a campground, this level of maintenance is hardly acceptable.
Another particularly bothersome issue: in the left-hand restroom block, openings near the ceiling allow a view into the showers and toilets of the block on the other side. This clearly poses a privacy issue and does not seem acceptable to us.
Finally, the campground is also very noisy, which greatly detracts from the peace and quiet one would expect during a camping trip.

Le cadre du camping est agréable, mais malheureusement cela ne suffit pas à compenser les nombreux problèmes rencontrés.
Le principal point négatif concerne la propreté des sanitaires, qui est vraiment insuffisante : sols très sales et noircis, eau froide, évacuations bouchées et aucune intervention malgré ces désagréments. Pour un camping, ce niveau d’entretien est difficilement acceptable.
Autre problème particulièrement gênant : dans le bloc sanitaire de gauche, les ouvertures situées au niveau du plafond permettent d’apercevoir les douches et les toilettes du bloc situé de l’autre côté. Cela pose clairement un problème d’intimité et ne nous semble pas acceptable.
Enfin, le camping est également très bruyant, ce qui nuit fortement au calme que l’on peut attendre lors d’un séjour en camping.
Dommage, car le cadre est agréable, mais l’entretien, l’intimité des sanitaires et le niveau sonore mériteraient vraiment d’être améliorés. -

We had a wonderful week at Huttopia Lac de Sillé!
Everything came together to make for a perfect stay: an absolutely stunning setting, surrounded by trees and close to the lake. It was pure bliss, especially during a heat wave: plenty of shade, cool temperatures, and a gorgeous environment.
The accommodations were very comfortable, and the facilities were spotlessly clean.
We also absolutely loved the vibe at the bar-guinguette: a really cool atmosphere, a great bar, and delicious pizzas! 🍕
And above all, a huge shout-out to the entire team for their warm welcome, helpfulness, kindness, and impeccable service from start to finish.

Une magnifique semaine passée au Huttopia Lac de Sillé !
Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour parfait : un cadre absolument magnifique, au cœur des arbres et proche du lac. Un vrai bonheur, particulièrement en période de canicule : beaucoup d’ombre, de fraîcheur et un environnement superbe.
Le logement était très agréable et les commodités impeccablement propres.
Gros coup de cœur également pour l’ambiance du bar-guinguette : une atmosphère vraiment chouette, un super bar et de délicieuses pizzas ! 🍕
Et surtout, un énorme big-up à toute l’équipe pour son accueil, sa disponibilité, sa gentillesse et un service irréprochable du début à la fin.

I discovered this campground during a trip to the West Coast; I originally planned to stay for just two days as a stopover, but I felt so at home that I ended up staying a whole week. The tent with a lake view where I slept was a bit vintage, but so comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. The staff is truly lovely—special shout-out to the mascot, Suki, who’s also very cute

J'ai découvert ce camping lors d'un voyage en direction de la côte ouest, je pensais initialement y rester 2 jours le temps d'une escale, mais je me suis senti tellement bien que je suis resté une semaine entière, la tente avec vue sur lac dans laquelle j'ai dormi était un peut vintage, mais si confortable, et équipée de tout le nécessaire. Le personnel est vraiment adorable, mention pour la mascotte suki, qui est également très mignon
Les pizza et glaces servient au restaurant sont délicieuses. J'ai pu découvrir un patrimoine local typique et vraiment beau, je vous invite le plat local, les rillettes, c'est incroyable. Merci pour cette semaine Huttogéniale 🌄🦮
