Huttopia Noirmoutier

Though right on a lovely beach, the site was overcrowded and felt like we were camping in a Carmarthen as the pitches opposite had a line of parking spaces rather than cars being allowed to be on the pitch. No division between pitches and so some people happily encroached onto the pitch next door.

We had a fabulous holiday at Huttopia, Noirmoutier. The location is beyond wonderful. We could see the beach and the sea from our pitch and were lulled to sleep by the waves each night. The facilities were well maintained and always clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back.

We stayed again at this Huttopia site in Noirmoutier. We cannot praise it highly enough. The location, the sanitaires, the staff were all exceptional and we have no hesitation in recommending it (except we don’t really want people to know about it and take our pitch!) 😁. I needed my van insurance documents printing whilst I was there and they were really kind and helpful about printing them for me. Other campers who came for a short stay lengthened their stay rather than move to another site and we met people from last year who had booked again for this year. That speaks for itself.
Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to make us feel welcome and who look after everything to the high test level……. We will be back.

Apart from its beachfront location, it doesn't have much to offer; for half the price, it could have been rated higher. There are few restroom facilities, so they're heavily used and look the part. Other campsites, however, are significantly cheaper and better maintained—in some cases, we didn't even pay half as much for more. It’s definitely nice here in the off-season.

Super place to enjoy some natural surroundings near the sea.

Excellent campground with very helpful and friendly staff

We were disappointed by the Huttopia brand, which seemed to guarantee environmental sustainability and quality. Here, people are just crammed in haphazardly. Cars are parked right on the campground grounds instead of outside. They’re everywhere. They tout the fact that it’s right on the beach, but that’s only accessible if you’re in a tent or RV. It’s a bit absurd because cars parked right on the beach come and go, even though the whole point is to keep motor vehicles off the beach.The restrooms are very outdated and not very clean. The pizzas are expensive and not very good. The staff, who are very young, seem a bit overwhelmed. We’ve really enjoyed other Huttopia campsites, but we won’t be returning to this one.
