Cottage Evasion - 2 persons

We’re a family of four in our 40s, and we had a good stay—though it could have been excellent.

Let’s start with the positives:
- Bungalow
- Facilities and amenities
- Location
- Pools
- Family-friendly and quiet campground

Areas for improvement:

- The staff (little acknowledgment after a week and a severe lack of competence for a 4-star campground), though fortunately most of them offer a warm smile
- The entertainment isn’t very lively
- Too quiet—everything stops at 10:30 p.m. (not even a late-night party!)
- Several visible pieces of trash on the campground grounds

Here are our suggestions for a better experience:

A minimum level of training for the staff (it’s a 4-star campground, after all!)
Take a golf cart tour to invite campers to the activities
Make the concert a little longer—until midnight, for example
Cover up, hide, or remove the trash and empty the water basins (real mosquito breeding grounds)

Simple things that are easy to implement.

A one-week stay in a mobile home with a private hot tub; the campground is small and intimate, the pool isn't overcrowded, and it's easy to find a lounge chair; the private hot tub is a really nice bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground—everything was perfect: the cabin, the pool, the peace and quiet. A special shout-out to Oceane, who really livened up our evenings—we miss you already 😉.The entire staff was top-notch and very attentive, and thanks to Camille, the manager, for her kindness and professionalism. In short… it was amazing!!!

I loved my stay! Violette, Eliott, and Océane from the entertainment team were awesome—I made tons of friends, and I can't wait to come back!

It's still such a beautiful place, and the service keeps getting better every year. As a loyal customer, I'll be back again and again. They've put a lot of effort into the landscaping this year, and the view of the Vaucluse has improved even more.

A small, peaceful campground. The campsites are generally very small. There wasn’t even enough room for a caravan with an awning and an additional tent.
They have cottages on the higher part of the campground. Some of them are very luxurious, with a hot tub on the terrace and a beautiful view. Excellent restroom facilities with hot water and toilet paper.
A great pool at the right temperature, and there was always a lounge chair available. The restaurant is simple but neat. Because of my celiac disease, I asked if they could prepare gluten-free meals. It was possible, but quite a hassle. In the end, they gave me my own baguette wrapped in aluminum foil, which they finished baking for me. And they grilled various items for me (skewers weren’t an option because they used a beer marinade and didn’t have any unmarinated skewers)... French fries weren’t an option because they said there was a risk of cross-contamination.
Other than that, the food was great and I had no issues. The kitchen was kept clean.
There was live music during dinner.
The surroundings are beautiful with the lavender fields and the Omermine. The apartment itself wasn’t anything special. Roussillon is definitely worth a visit.
A great campground for a week.
