Just a 15-minute drive from the campground is the town of Fréjus. The unique town owes its name to its extraordinary heritage. If you are a lover of art and history, you are in the right place. The town is full of museums, cathedrals and remnants of Roman rule such as the aqueduct and amphitheater. The seaside town on the Azure Coast also has beautiful Mediterranean beaches with a breathtaking panorama of the azure Mediterranean Sea. Also visit the fun Provencal traditional (evening) markets. Various festivals are organized throughout the year: the celebration of the grape harvest, fireworks, music festivals, theater and in July and August the theater festival des Nuits OFF is a great spectacle.
Saint-Tropez
Saint-Tropez was once a small fishing village that became popular in the 1950s and 1960s as a destination for artists and celebrities. Since then, the town has become an upscale and exclusive seaside resort. The old town, known as La Ponche, has authentic narrow streets and picturesque houses. In the harbor area, luxury yachts can be seen and you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife.

Camping Lei Suves is a well-maintained, shaded campsite with spacious pitches among the trees. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the heated swimming pool with slides, and the clean sanitary facilities. The small shop offers fresh bread daily and basic products. The campsite is centrally located for trips to Nice, Cannes and Saint-Tropez, approximately 20 minutes from Fréjus beach.

We stayed here with our own RV during peak season, parked near the rear restroom building. The layout of the sites is playful and attractive—not always practical due to the trees, but nicely designed.
The restroom building is very outdated, with cubicles that are too small (doors that swing inward, making it extremely cramped) and, frankly, too dirty for words; the cleaning (if it even happens) is also poor and nowhere near adequate. This place is definitely not worth 4 stars (even 1 is too much).
The first restroom building is newer and nicer, but it’s often dirty and crowded here as well.
The pool is too small for peak season, and there are far too few lounge chairs. It’s also hard to find shade, and there are no umbrellas available. The pool entrance is designed so that you have to go through a shower before you can enter, but because of all this water, the entrance area (where the restrooms are also located) is already dirty, and flip-flops are prohibited—in our opinion, this is a bit of a misstep on their part.
The food at the restaurant is too basic for the price they charge; little attention is paid to the dishes. For example, a hamburger sandwich consists only of a bun, a hamburger patty, sauce, and fries.
You have to pay for Wi-Fi, but in our areas it was really too weak to use; it did work near the front desk and the pool, though. In our opinion, you can’t charge money for a service that’s only half-functional—and certainly not the amounts they’re charging now (€15 for one device for a week).
Also keep in mind that in the store and at the reception desk, you can’t make a debit card payment for less than €10.
For us, this was a one-time experience (we even left early, but unfortunately they don’t offer refunds), but we’ll never stay at this campground again.this is a translation, click here for the original
Wij hebben hier met een eigen caravan in het hoogseizoen gestaan, stonden bij het achterste toiletgebouw. De indeling van de plekken is speels en mooi, niet altijd handig ivm bomen maar wel mooi opgezet.
Het toiletgebouw is erg verouderd te kleine hokjes (naar binnen draaiende deuren, waardoor het helemaal krap wordt) en eigenlijk te vies voor woorden, de schoonmaak (als die er al is) is ook slecht en bij lange na niet toereikend. Deze is echt geen 4 sterren waardig (1 is al te veel).
Het eerste toiletgebouw is nieuwer en mooier, maar ook hier vaak vies en druk.
Het zwembad, te klein voor in het hoogseizoen en veelt e weinig bedjes. Ook schaduw is lastig te vinden en er zijn ook geen parasols beschikbaar. De toegang van het zwembad is zo gemaakt dat je door een douche moet voordat je naar binnen kunt, maar door al dit water is de binnenkomst (waar ook de wc’s zijn) ook al vies en zijn slippers verboden, ze staan hierdoor de plank een beetje mis ons inziens.
Het eten bij het restaurant is te simpel voor de prijs die ze er voor vragen, weinig aandacht besteed aan het gerecht. Bv broodje hamburger is ook alleen broodje, hamburger, saus en frites.
WiFi moet je kopen maar op onze plekken was deze echt te slecht om te kunnen gebruiken, voor bij de receptie en zwembad werkte dit wel, voor z’n halve dienst kun je ons inziens geen geld vragen en vooral niet de bedragen die ze nu vragen (1 device voor een week €15).
Denk er ook aan, in de winkel en de receptie kan er niet onder de €10 gepint worden.
We hebben ook een gehandicapte dochter, maar gelukkig was deze niet mee, wat we zo zagen was de camping niet rolstoel vriendelijk.
Voor ons was dit eenmalig (zelfs eerder vertrokken, helaas doen ze niet een restitutie) maar nooit weer deze camping. -

A beautiful and well-maintained campground with good, clean restroom facilities. The pool is nice, but when the campground is full, I can imagine it might feel a bit cramped.
Almost all the campsites are shaded by trees; the sites are generally spacious, but sometimes a tree gets in the way. Mooie en verzorgde camping met goed en schoon sanitair. Het zwembad is netjes, maar als de camping vol is, dan kan ik me voorstellen dat het wat aan de krappe kant is.
De staanplaatsen zijn nagenoeg allemaal in de schaduw van bomen, de plekken zijn doorgaans wel groot, maar soms staat er een boom in de weg. Verder een prima winkeltje, voetbal/basketbalveld en tennisbaan (asfalt als ondergrond). Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. -
