We booked a spot for our campervan that afternoon for that very evening. Cassandre immediately confirmed our reservation by email. When we arrived, she warmly welcomed us and provided all the information about Les Chênes Blancs campground. Although our spot was along the small road, we weren’t disturbed by traffic at night. Most of the sites are shaded by trees. We enjoyed swimming in the pool after an afternoon of traveling in 34°C heat. There is also a wading pool for children. We wish the exit from the pool didn’t require us to walk through the footbath again before getting our shoes. There’s a playground for kids and a bocce court for adults. We weren’t able to try the restaurant since it’s open Tuesday through Saturday and we only stayed on Monday. The restrooms are clean. There are plenty of recycling bins. Well-located for exploring the region; I assume it’s necessary to book well in advance for July and August. And there’s a choice between open campsites, mobile homes, and lodges.

A quiet, pleasant, and shaded campground. We stayed in a well-appointed, air-conditioned mobile home. We were able to enjoy the mobile home’s patio, which was a real treat. The campground’s location is ideal for exploring all the region’s attractions.

Vacation | Couple Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome at the front desk and were able to choose our site from several available options. The dishwashing area and laundry area are very well maintained. The showers are simple but very clean, cleaned several times a day, as are the restrooms. Note that the showers and restrooms are co-ed. There is a baby care area. The campground is well-located near small towns and tourist villages; the Ochre Trail is 10 minutes away, with Roussillon and Gordes nearby; Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is about 30 minutes away. Two swimming pools, including one for children. The large pool has a maximum depth of 1.50 m. Restroom and shower area within the pool enclosure. Deck chairs available. Option to order bread, pastries, and coffee the day before for the next day. Supermarkets are 10–15 minutes away by car. The campground is spacious and well-shaded. Children’s play area, barbecue area available (bring your own charcoal), and a pétanque area. A beautiful, peaceful spot. We’re spending a few peaceful days here.

Not really our kind of campground. We were here in June and stayed at site 099 (close to the bocce court, terrace, and restrooms). It was very noisy here. We also found it very disruptive that loud disco music was usually played around 8:30 a.m. during the morning bread roll distribution. We could hear this clearly from our spot. After we mentioned this to the front desk, nothing was done about it. Also, the restrooms could use a good cleaning. Despite all these negative points, they do have a lovely pool with plenty of lounge chairs. The surroundings are fantastic, and the many towns are easily accessible!
