The Hautes-Alpes are a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, with 1,800 km of Grandes Randonnées, 5,000 km of Petites Randonnées, and numerous Tours de Pays. Sporty hikers can climb the Pic de Bure at over 2,700 meters or explore the wild plateau of Céüze. Cyclists will also find plenty to enjoy in the Southern Alps, with famous passes such as the Col du Noyer, Col de Chabre, and Col de Mens, as well as challenging climbs like the Col de Carabès, Col d’Espréaux, and Mont Colombis. Thanks to the mild climate, long tours are possible from April onwards, for example through the Gorges de la Méouge or towards Gap. Around the campsite, there are also more than 46 mountain bike routes, totaling over 1,800 km for all levels.

I have nothing to say about the campground, its location, the surroundings, or the pool. The campground is well-located in a quiet setting. The kids’ wading pool does need some work, though (crumbling concrete, etc.). A renovation is needed. However, chalet #19 is really in poor condition.
BEDDING: The bedding isn’t comfortable at all; the … mattresses aren’t thick enough.
BATHROOM AND TOILET: When I checked into this cabin, the bathroom floor was slanted as if it were about to collapse. It creaked a lot. I’d already had that same feeling in the kitchen near the bathroom. Even the toilet in this bathroom was tilted.
TOILET SEAT: The seat wouldn’t stay in place. It kept moving (outdated fasteners). The toilet seat lid kept falling on our backs.
SMELL: Upon entering the cabin, there was a foul, sewer-like smell.
SHOWER STALL: One of the two shower doors was difficult to slide open. It was held in place only at the top. I had told my 4-year-old daughter not to touch it for fear she might fall on it.
KITCHEN SINK: The sink was clogged; the maintenance crew came several times to unclog it. Despite unclogging it and cleaning the trap, the sink kept getting clogged.
When I arrived at this cabin, I couldn’t go to the front desk to report the condition of the cabin—I was concerned about the floor—because of a major thunderstorm.
The next day, I was able to notify the maintenance department, and the staff came to place support boards under the cabin from below.
I mentioned these issues when I returned the keys at the end of my rental on August 30. When I told the person about all these issues, they said, “But you must have seen the photos when you made your reservation.” No, we do see photos, but they’re always of brand-new rentals—not photos showing the poor condition of a cabin.
In any case, I’m not happy with this rental, and the worst part is that it was rented out again the day I left. It’s really irresponsible to rent out a cabin in this condition....😡this is a translation, click here for the original
Je n'ai rien à a dire sur le camping, sa situation, l'environnement, la piscine. Camping bien situé et dans un environnement calme. La pataugeoire des petits mérite quand même des travaux (morceaux de béton qui s'effritent etc). Une rénovation s'impose. Par contre, le chalet emplacement 19 est vraiment dans un sale état.
LITERIE : La literie n'est pas confortable du tout, matelas pas assez épais.
SALLE DE BAINS WC : Quand j'ai pris possession de ce chalet, en allant dans la salle de bains le plancher penchait comme s'il allait s'écrouler. Il grinçait beaucoup J'ai eu cette sensation déjà dans la cuisine proche de la salle de bains. Même le wc qui se trouve dans cette salle de bains penchait également.
LUNETTE DES TOILETTES : la lunette ne tenait pas. Elle bougeait tout le temps (fixations obsolètes) . Le couvercle de la lunette nous tombait dans le dos.
ODEUR : en entrant dans le chalet, odeur nauséabonde d'égouts.
CABINE DE DOUCHE : une des deux portes de douche coulissait difficilement. Elle n'était tenue que par le haut. J'avais interdit à ma petite fille de 4 ans de la toucher de crainte qu'elle ne tombe sur elle.
EVIER DE CUISINE : évier bouché, le service technique est venu plusieurs fois pour le déboucher. Malgré le débouchage et le nettoyage du syphon, l'évier se bouchait toujours.
Quand je suis arrivée dans ce chalet je n'ai pas pu aller à la réception signaler l'état du chalet dont le plancher m'inquiétait, à cause d'un gros orage.
Le lendemain, j'ai pu prévenir le service technique et les employés sont venus mettre des planches de soutien sous le chalet par le dessous.
J'ai parlé de ces problèmes lors de la remise des clés à la fin de ma location soit le 30 août. La personne, quand je lui ai relaté tous ces soucis m'a dit "mais vous avez dû voir les photos lors de votre réservation". Eh non on voit bien des photos mais toujours de locations neuves et non pas de photos sur le mauvais état d'un chalet.
En tout cas pas contente de cette location et le pire est qu'il était loué à nouveau le jour de mon départ. C'est quand même leger de louer un chalet dans cet état....😡 -
