The park is praised for the warm, personal welcome from owners Manu and Eric, who are frequently mentioned by name as approachable and helpful. Guests appreciate the family atmosphere, the varied animation programme with daily activities and enjoyable evening entertainment, and the peaceful, nature-rich location by a river with access to a fishing pond and animals such as donkeys. The pool with slide and children's playgrounds are often positively reviewed. Points of criticism focus mainly on the value for money, limited restaurant opening hours (evenings only), the cleanliness of sanitary facilities which is not always optimal, and some complaints about noise from the nearby road or other guests.

A very pleasant campground with a family-friendly atmosphere. The water park is a bit small, but there’s a section for little ones with a slide that our kids really enjoyed.
We can access a river directly from inside the campground and were able to get up close to the campground’s animals (donkeys, a horse, and a pig)—our kids loved it!
The campground also offers activities for everyone.

Nice campground. The biggest complaint is that the pool is always murky, the footbaths are very dirty, and the showers before entering the pool don't work. There are no swim caps to keep hair out of the water. There's no pool attendant in sight—which is a real shame.

Camping sympa .

Discovering this campground was a real success—for both the kids and the adults! It’s a family-friendly campground, and the staff are welcoming and warm. A big THANK YOU, especially to the campground managers! They’re incredible! Flexible, helpful, generous, cheerful, and enthusiastic—truly a wonderful welcome! The mobile home was well-equipped, the play areas for kids and adults were great, and the pool let us cool off whenever we wanted. The restaurant’s food is top-notch! And the activities were a blast for the whole family! Hats off to Manu and Lise for their cardio routine! Our kids are still dancing at home now ;-) There are so many wonderful things to say about this campground... To sum it up, I’d say: Our kids cried when it was time to leave, and we had tears in our eyes, too.

We are a family of 4 (2 boys of 3 and 6) who have been staying at La Rivière for ten days. We all had a wonderful time. We appreciated our tent on stilts, the greenery, the tweeting birds, the kids programme, the swimming pool, the slide in the pool, the multi-faceted playground, the “playground” for adults, the kids’ programme, the parties, the owners’ kindness and sense of fun.
The lady responsible for the children’s programme is also perfect in her role. She manages the kids very well and is a great role model, for the girls especially.
The whole team take great care to ensure the campsite and guests are well cared for, that ecological products are used, that water is used sparingly, that solar power is used, where possible, that organic waste is used for compost etc. Most of all Eric and Manu strive to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. What more could you ask for.

Nothing to complain about—except to say thank you!
A well-maintained, well-equipped, and clean campground with friendly, attentive, and caring owners. It’s quiet and on a human scale—you quickly feel right at home. Pitches or rentals with a view of the private pond or river are a real bonus for a perfect change of scenery and the perfect setting for relaxing! Thanks to the whole team, and see you next year!
