This park is beautifully situated in the mountains with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and within walking distance of the charming village of Vallouise. Guests particularly appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the clean and regularly maintained sanitary facilities, and the pleasant swimming pool. The location is described as ideal for hiking, outdoor activities, and as a base for exploring the Parc des Écrins. However, there are comments about general maintenance issues, such as open electrical boxes, uneven pitches, and limited pitch demarcation.

Great great location, nice camping, we enjoyed a lot, many great hikes in the mountains, nice road bike trips, lovely heated swimming pool, stream of fresh water to cool down, night atmosphere.
Cooling down in the evening for a good sleep, but bring your blankets (or ask at the reception) to keep warm early in the morning. -

Beautiful location, nice pool, but otherwise a soulless campground with disinterested staff, a lack of service and helpfulness (you have to ask for things three times before they do anything, and even then they get angry), and the sites are haphazardly laid out and unsuitable for RVs (and large tents). Only two restroom buildings, often filthy, not enough washing machines, and only pre-baked pizza in the “restaurant.” We won’t be coming back here.

Location: Great!
Safari tent: The mosquito netting is almost completely worn out and sticky; the gas tank was empty when we arrived; a chair broke, and we were given a replacement chair that was also broken; the handle on the frying pan snapped off; a screw turned out to be loose. The staff reacts to problems as they arise and resolves them reactively; no one seems to be performing proactive maintenance.
Restrooms: As Dutch people, we have some strong opinions about this, especially after spending a week in Italy just before this. The restrooms are old; the toilet bowl or seat is sometimes loose, there are dirty caulk lines, and holes from old pipes. The showers are old and dirty, and the water is either too hot or too cold; you have to press the button every 5 seconds the old-fashioned way, leaving you standing there with shampoo in your hair. There’s also not enough space for so many people; doing the dishes or laundry means standing in line, as does showering during peak hours and brushing your teeth. The result: people end up doing their business at the many faucets scattered around the grounds, which, strangely enough, don’t have any drainage.
The safari tents can come with a heater—which sounds nice—but we barely slept for two nights because we were in a smoke-filled tent since our neighbors kept the fire going all night long even with no wind at all. It was breathtaking, and everything stank of campfire INSIDE our tent.
When you order pizza, they give you a buzzer—which turned out to be broken—and no one bothered to walk around and ask whose pizza it was. We ended up with cold pizza because, as they explained, they had saved it for us.
The location still gets a solid 10, but other than that, it just doesn’t quite measure up.this is a translation, click here for the original
Locatie: Top!
