We won’t be coming back here a second time...
We stayed here for 3 nights. The first night was fine—I slept well—but be sure to bring your own pillow if you don’t want to end up with a sore neck.
The second night was far from pleasant. We stayed in the “Spiegelhuis”; the view was beautiful, but we’d already come across a few ants that day. We thought it wouldn’t be too bad and that it was just a coincidence—until we found them in the evening in the bed, on our towels, in our food, on the counter—really, everywhere. They even crawled all over us at times… The front desk closes at 6:00 p.m. A friendly staff member gave us some spray and a pest trap, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. Since she was about to close up, I had to come back in the morning to report this…. In the end, they were crawling everywhere—at least they weren’t that nasty, but it definitely wasn’t pleasant. We had no choice but to put up with it that evening…
The next morning, we went straight to the front desk and brought this up. A staff member went to check the cottage and indeed saw that this was a major problem, so we were assigned a different cottage. We went to take a look and thought it was fine—we didn’t have any other choice anyway… We still had a very nice view, though, so that was a plus. But here’s the thing: my husband had been in the shower for 10 minutes, and then I got in. I had hot water for 5 minutes, and then it turned ice-cold. I’d already lathered up, but then I had to call again. They finally showed up 35 minutes later, and the problem wasn’t fixed right away, so here I am, soaking wet. In the end, the guy really did his best, but unfortunately we were told that there was no more hot water, which meant I had to drive at 9:30 at the park to the part of the campground where the caravans and RVs are parked, and I was allowed to take a shower there. I was pretty fed up with it all.
The restaurants at the campground are also closed, and it wasn’t clearly explained anywhere except on the app… So we had to eat outside the campground at the end of April because everything here is closed except for the small shop near the reception desk. It certainly didn’t feel like a successful vacation anymore—it cost over €650 for 3 nights, and under these circumstances, this is worse than bad, and I’m really fed up with it…
The campground staff were sitting at a table at the reception desk discussing something and then went outside with the laptop. We sat down there because we had to wait to find out what was going to happen with the room. The man thought we’d taken his laptop because he’d left it there, but he’d actually just taken it with him himself. We looked at the man with a smile and said, “You took it with you yourself,” which made him walk away. I looked at my husband in surprise and thought it was really very rude that we were being associated with that—we were left speechless. I had a nice view here, but that’s really all there was to it. Plus, the hygiene here definitely isn’t great—there were still food scraps from the previous guests on the air conditioner remote control…
On the day we checked out, the owners were there and even came over themselves to refund part of the cost; they also apologized, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, that didn’t make the visit any more enjoyable. I’m incredibly disappointed, but the staff was friendly and the view was beautiful.
Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back here.
We do want to thank the owners and staff for helping us find solutions.this is a translation, click here for the original

On our way to the Netherlands from Norway, with severe delays on German highways, we arrived at this campground at 5:55 p.m., completely exhausted. We found it online:
. We hadn’t read that the reception desk would close at 6:00 p.m., but that was made very clear to us right away.
We hadn’t made a reservation. We were asked if we still wanted to make one. When I asked if they had a shaded spot, we were told that we were already very late—she was about to close—so we should hurry up, and on top of that, we were making demands. “Then you should have made a reservation,” was the response.
We did eventually get a spot on a beautiful grounds, and the restrooms are very luxurious.
After such a long trip, we’d been hoping for a bite to eat at the restaurant, but that didn’t work out because the restaurant closes its kitchen at 8:00 p.m. That isn’t mentioned anywhere, by the way. It says the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m. All in all, it was a disappointing experience for us.
It’s a beautiful campground but very strictly organized with set times, and poorly communicated.this is a translation, click here for the original

The staff was incredibly friendly. The amenities could be better (the beds are uncomfortable, and a grill would be nice). That's why I'm deducting one star.

Unglaublich nettes Personal. Deswegen 1 Stern Abzug

A very nice campground where everyone can find “their” spot, whether right by the water, on a larger meadow, or in smaller, secluded areas surrounded by nature. A bike or scooter is helpful for exploring. There are several activities for children, and they’ve even thought of our four-legged friends. On the downside, we weren’t reimbursed for the fee we paid for our dog, even though we didn’t bring him along. The campground’s app is great and provides useful information. The restaurant is worth a visit—delicious food and friendly staff.
