Wake up on the water in Floating House 5 – your classic houseboat for up to 5 people in the harbour of Barth. Here you stay in a quiet, separate part of the marina, surrounded by nature, yet only a few minutes’ walk from the historic old town and the lively city harbour.

From the upper deck you have a wonderful panoramic view across the Bodden. Enjoy your morning coffee with the first rays of sun on the water and end the day with a relaxing drink while the boats glide by. The houseboat offers three bedrooms and space for 5 guests – ideal for a couple, a family or a small group of friends looking for a cosy and special stay on the water.

Practical extras make your holiday even easier. A small private wooden hut on the jetty is available, perfect for safely storing your bikes or extra luggage. For arrival and departure, a handcart is provided so you can comfortably transport your bags across the marina to your floating home. WiFi (limited in the harbour), a parking space and the final cleaning are already included.

If you feel like a swim, you’ll find a small guarded beach on the Bodden on the outskirts of Barth. The long, sandy Baltic Sea beaches of the Fischland-Darß peninsula are about 10 km away and easy to reach by car, bike or even by bathing ship. There you can expect idyllic villages with pretty thatched-roof houses, dunes and a relaxed beach vibe.

The region around the Bodden is a paradise for water sports and outdoor fans: try fishing, sailing, surfing, motorboating, swimming, rowing or paddling on the wide, sheltered waters. On land, there are plenty of cycling and walking routes as well as many excursion destinations.

In Barth itself you can reach the city harbour and the charming town centre on foot in just a few minutes. Stroll past lovingly restored town houses, medieval alleys and impressive brick Gothic buildings. The harbour square and the promenade invite you to wander, sit down for a drink and simply unwind. Please note: bed linen and towels can be booked as an extra and are not included in the travel price.
