Looking for a special getaway by the sea? On the Hausboot Family & Friends LP (for 3–4 people) you’ll stay in a cosy, stationary houseboat in Marina Boltenhagen, right on the Baltic Sea. You’re literally on the water, yet still just a few steps away from the beach and all the facilities on land.

The bright living and dining area has large glass fronts that let in loads of daylight and give you a wide view over the marina. You’ll really feel connected to nature here – watch the light on the water in the morning and the sunset in the evening. If you prefer a bit more shade or privacy, you can simply close the blinds.

The houseboat offers two separate bedrooms, making it ideal for a family holiday or a trip with friends. Inside you’ll find three rooms in total, comfortably furnished so everyone has their own spot to relax. There is a bathroom with a separate toilet, so you don’t get in each other’s way during busy mornings.

On warm days, your favourite place will probably be outside: relax on the cosy terrace or stretch out on your private sun deck and enjoy the fresh sea air. This houseboat is permanently moored in the marina and can be used without a boating licence, so you can enjoy life on the water without any hassle.

Thanks to heating and air conditioning, the boat is comfortable in every season – pleasantly cool in summer and snug and warm on cooler or stormy Baltic days. WiFi and all consumption-based energy costs are included, so there are no surprises.

Marina Boltenhagen lies on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Baltic Sea coast, with well-kept sandy beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. From the pier in Boltenhagen you can hop on excursion boats to the island of Poel, to Wismar or to charming places along the Schleswig-Holstein coast. Families love a visit to the Butterfly Park in Klütz, where you can admire tropical butterflies up close. If the weather turns, the Wonnemar adventure pool in nearby Wismar (about 11 km away) is a great indoor alternative, and the historic Hanseatic city itself – a UNESCO World Heritage site – is perfect for a day of strolling, culture and good food.
