Looking for a truly different kind of holiday home? Meet the Watercamper deluxe – your floating glamping stay in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Instead of a fixed lodge or cottage, you’ll spend your holiday on a comfortable water camper that lets you literally drift from place to place.

This clever new type of accommodation combines a stable catamaran base with a cosy caravan. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxed stay for up to three people: a bedroom, a bathroom and a snug living space where you can unwind after a day on the water. Pets are welcome too, so your four-legged friend can join the adventure.

The real magic happens outside. At the front there’s a generously sized bow terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, read a book during the day or sip a drink under the stars at night. The platform is surrounded by a secure railing, making it a safe spot for children – perfect for little captains who like to watch the world go by. A stable handrail runs all around the boat, giving you an easy and safe walkway to move around.

With extra-large water tanks and powerful batteries, you can stay several days away from any shore connection and still be comfortable. That means more time to explore quiet bays, swim in clear lakes and enjoy the peace of nature. When you do decide to dock in a harbour, please note that water, electricity and heating (optional) are charged separately by the port.

    We had a great time on the water camper! Waking up to the sunrise over the Mecklenburg Lakes Region was something else, The area was so peaceful, and I loved that we were able to explore different places, The boat itself was quite comfortable, even had a nice little kitchen, Just a tip, make sure you check the extra charges for water and electricity at the ports, but honestly it was worth every penny, Definitely recommend it for a fun, relaxing vacation!

Wakker worden met de zonsopgang boven het Mecklenburgse Merengebied was iets anders, Het gebied was zo vredig, en ik hield ervan dat we verschillende plekken konden verkennen, De boot zelf was best comfortabel, had zelfs een leuke kleine keuken, Alleen een tip, zorg ervoor dat je de extra kosten voor water en elektriciteit in de havens controleert, maar eerlijk gezegd was het elke cent waard, Zeker een aanrader voor een leuke, ontspannen vakantie!
