Summary created out of 217 reviews

The location at the Biggesee is beautiful with walking and cycling opportunities in the immediate surroundings. Guests appreciate the peace and nature, although the campsite is clearly in transition with many cordoned-off areas and construction work. The sanitary facilities are a major point for improvement: guests complain about black mould in shower grouting, insufficient hot water during busy periods, and too little toilet capacity because one sanitary building is closed. Staff receive mixed reviews – some experience friendliness and helpfulness, others feel unwelcome or get insufficient response to complaints. There is hardly any entertainment or catering, which is disappointing for families with children.

Luxurious, well-maintained cottages. Everything seems to be fairly new. Great! Comfortable beds (it’s a good idea to bring your own pillow). Equipped with two air conditioners and a heat pump. A very pleasant stay during the hot days. The campground is very quiet; no noise is allowed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. But even outside these hours, it’s practically silent. We were out every day until around 7:30 p.m. Perhaps the only downside is that there’s no restaurant or small shop where you can buy things like sandwiches or drinks.

Luxe, nette huisjes.

We stayed in a chalet, which was absolutely perfect. We really enjoyed exploring the area. The park was clean and everything was well organized.

The campground is about to be taken over by Eurocamp, which means maintenance is lacking.

The campground has nice campsites that are spacious enough. However, the restrooms are very outdated. The earlier in the day you go, the cleaner the restrooms are.
The dishwashing stations and laundry room were well-maintained.
Shower area—some showers were way too hot!! Mold on the ceiling and in the corner of the wall.
Not much to do at the campground. That’s probably why I wanted to rent a bike on Thursday but couldn’t until Sunday. Luckily, I was able to rent one at Mubea, as recommended by the receptionist.
Biggeszee is very beautiful and has clean water, though it’s a bit of a walk from the campground.
Next to the campground, there’s a path leading uphill to an old mini-golf course that, unfortunately, is no longer in use—probably due to age? Too bad—it might have been a nice upgrade for the campground!!
For small children, there’s a nice outdoor play area; the indoor area is a bit dangerous due to an old play structure that’s leaning to one side.
Despite everything, we still had a nice vacation thanks to the surroundings, but the campground doesn’t make us want to come back next time!

Camping heeft mooie kampeerplekken, ruim genoeg. Echter sanitair is sterk verouderd.
