Looking for a real camping experience with just that extra comfort? Then this bell tent is ideal! Because the Belltents are in the middle of nature, you can enjoy all the beauty that Germany's nature has to offer. The tent has an outdoor kitchenette, crockery, kitchen inventory and a double bed. The tent is suitable for 2 persons, but it is also possible to accommodate 2 children if you bring your own air mattress and sleeping bag. There is an automatic surcharge of €5 per extra person per night. Pets are unfortunately not allowed in this accommodation. There are two bell tents on the campsite. Number 1 is slightly lower down, near a stream. Number 2, is slightly higher on a hill, near the forest.

Camping De Drei Spatzen is a small-scale, peaceful nature campsite in the South Eifel with Dutch owners André and Maaike who are praised for their hospitality and helpfulness.     We had another wonderful vacation—this year in a safari tent. It was actually a bit too hot (11 days above 30 degrees), but there was a patio across from our tent where we could sit in the shade all morning. The owners were very friendly, everything was spotless, and the food was delicious.
    You really feel welcome—there were even water bowls with fresh water on the patio for the dogs.
    We’ll definitely be back again

    Weer een heerlijke vakantie gehad, dit jaar in een safaritent. Eigenlijk een beetje te warm(11 dagen boven de 30 graden), maar tegenover onze tent een terras waar je de hele ochtend in de schaduw kon zitten. Heel gezellige eigenaars, alles keurig, heerlijk gegeten.
    Je voelt je echt welkom, ook voor de honden stonden er op het terras waterbakken met vers water.
    Wij komen zeker weer een x terug

    A beautiful and peaceful campground surrounded by nature. Andre and Maaike run the campground with great enthusiasm, and they create a relaxed atmosphere there. There’s a nice terrace, and you can enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant.
    On our second day at the campground, we had car trouble. The car was picked up and taken to a garage in Bitburg. We had to pick up the loaner car (through the ANWB) in Bitburg. That’s 20 km from the campground; Andre was kind enough to drive us there. He also regularly called the garage to check on the situation. This campground, with its friendly and helpful owners, deserves a perfect score. It’s definitely worth recommending.

    Een prachtige en rustige camping midden in de natuur. De camping wordt door Andre en Maaike met veel plezier geleid, zij zorgen voor een relaxte sfeer op de camping. Er is een leuk terras en je kunt er lekker eten in het restaurant.
    Wij hadden de tweede dag dat we op de camping waren autopech. De auto is opgehaald en naar een garage in Bitburg gebracht. De leenauto (via de anwb) moesten we halen in Bitburg. Dat is 20 km. bij de camping vandaan, Andre was zo vriendelijk om ons daar heen te brengen. Ook heeft hij geregeld de garage gebeld hoe het er voor stond. Deze camping me taardige en meedenkende eigenaren verdienen een tien. En is zeker aan te raden.
    En elke morgen verse broodjes .

    Stayed at the campsite for 8 days with my partner and 11 month old son. Had a really good time. The owners (Dutch) are really friendly and are happy to help with anything (as is the rest of the staff).

    Toilets and showers get cleaned daily, you can order fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolat and can even dine at the campsite.

    We camped with a tent and had a large spot (we thought it were two spots) and good shade during the day aswell. Because the campsite is located in a valley with trees around the morning and evening cools down, which was nice during the heat.

    Campsite itself was nice, cozy and quiet, with no traffic nearby. From the campsite there were a few walking routes with variable lengths (we especially enjoyed the shortest one, 2,8km's) and half a hour drive away were beautiful hiking spots (Grüne Hölle and Teufelsschlucht, we preferred the former. Be sure to follow Komoot).

    Thanks a lot for the nice stay and maybe till another time!

    PS. Be sure to check out the Klettersteig organized from the campsite each Tuesday. It is not that difficult (we never done it before, but are climbers) and nice combination of climbing and hiking around Neuerburg.
