Looking for a romantic and slightly different kind of getaway for two? This cosy houseboat near Xanten floats on the beautiful North Sea lake, surrounded by green shores and calm water. It’s the perfect spot if you love nature, water and a bit of adventure – but still want comfort and convenience.

Your floating home lies on a private jetty together with a few other houseboats, just in front of the small town of Vynen. Step outside and you’re right on the water, with wide views over the lake. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for an easy stay: two bedrooms, a bathroom, WiFi, bed linen and towels, and even the final cleaning and energy costs are already included. Just check in, drop your bags, and start relaxing.

The surroundings are a dream if you enjoy being active outdoors. The North Sea and South Sea lakes are interconnected and offer endless water fun: take a refreshing swim at the lido with sandy beach and sun loungers, try stand-up paddling, rent a boat, or sign up for a sailing course.     Better than I expected for this price. The location on the North Sea was beautiful, surrounded by a lovely lake landscape. We spent hours just lying on the rooftop terrace and enjoying the sun. That small beach area with lounge chairs gave our afternoons a sense of escape from reality.

    Beter dan ik had verwacht voor deze prijs. De locatie aan de Noordzee was prachtig, omringd door een mooi meerlandschap. We hebben uren gewoon op het dakterras gelegen en van de zon genoten. Dat kleine strandgedeelte met ligstoelen gaf onze middagen een gevoel van ontsnapping aan de realiteit.
