The campsite is beautifully and peacefully located in the heart of nature, surrounded by forests and hills, ideal for hikers and cyclists. Guests praise the very friendly and helpful staff and Dutch owners who are always ready to assist. The restaurant serves tasty, simple dishes such as schnitzels at reasonable prices. However, the sanitary facilities are a significant point of concern: many describe them as outdated, too small for a full campsite, and insufficiently clean, with complaints about inadequate facilities and infrequent cleaning.

    Check in at the window by the road next to the restaurant. You’ll receive a key to the restroom facilities. There are a few combined toilet and shower stalls, as well as separate toilets, sink stalls, and showers. The restrooms were clean.
    The little river had dried up after this hot summer. Not all sites are equally appealing in my opinion. There isn’t enough greenery to ensure privacy. Our spot was fine, though. We were at spot 34, on the right side of the field just past the little bridge. However, getting the caravan over the little bridge was a problem both ways. Its legs scraped the ground pretty hard. It’s unclear whether there’s a swimming pool; it was marked on the map. You receive an information booklet, but it states that the swimming pool is a bit further away. There’s some conflicting information, duplicated details, and ambiguities in the booklet.

    Aanmelden bij het raam aan de weg naast het restaurant. Je krijgt een sleutel voor de sanitairruimte. Er zijn een paar stuks toilet en douche ineen. Maar ook aparte toiletten, wastafelcabines en douches. Sanitair was schoon.
    Het riviertje was na deze hete zomer opgedroogd. Niet alle plaatsen zijn even aantrekkelijk in mijn ogen. Te weinig groen ter waarborg van privacy. Op onze plaats ging het wel. Wij stonden op plaats 34, rechts over het bruggetje op het veld. Over het bruggetje met de caravan was echter een probleem heen én een probleem terug. Deze raakte met de pootjes stevig de grond. Onduidelijk of er een zwembad is, stond wel op de plattegrond. Je krijgt een map met informatie maar daar staat in dat een eind verder een zwembad is. Wat tegenstrijdige informatie, dubbele informatie en onduidelijkheden in de map.

    A great campground surrounded by nature. Wonderful owners and a delicious restaurant right at the campground. They handle unexpected situations really well—they let you know via the campground app. And hey, we all understand that when something momentous happens, like a birth, plans can change. It was also great that we could pick up takeout. A delicious meal right in front of your own RV. And, unfortunately, there was one guest who was speeding through the campground in his RV at at least 35 and then complained. It’s a shame that people like that ruin the experience—not to mention the danger such behavior poses to cyclists and children. Otherwise, it’s a top-notch campground where they’ve thought of everything. I wish the owners all the best with their grandchild.

    Prima camping midden in de natuur. Super eigenaren en heerlijk restaurant bij de camping. Prima oplossingen als er eens iets onverwacht is dat ze dat melden via de camping app. En hey we snappen allemaal dat als er iets heugelijks is zoals een geboorte dat de planning dan kan wijzigen. Was ook prima opgelost dat we eten af konden halen. Heerlijk uit eten voor je eigen caravan. Enne er was helaas 1 gast die hier met minimaal 35 over de camping vloog met zijn camper en dan gaat klagen. Jammer dat zulke het verpesten, om maar niet te zeggen het gevaar voor de fietsers en kinderen dat zulk gedrag met zich mee brengt. Verder top camping waar overal over mee gedacht wordt. Ik wens de eigenaren veel geluk met hun kleinkind toe.

    If you enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings, this is definitely the place to go. Just be aware that the bathrooms aren't great. You'll have to take turns showering if there are several people using them, and everything is outdated and not very modern.
