Summary created out of 153 reviews
Guests praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful owners who run the park with warmth and dedication. The restaurant offers delicious food at very affordable prices, and the location near Kröv and the Moselle is perfect for cycling and hiking trips. While the sanitary facilities are kept clean, they are dated and a new building is currently under construction, which many see as a positive development.

Paradies Camp—not worthy of its name!
Check-in: no reception desk; check in at the “restaurant.” Then I was shown to a spot, and that was it.
Bathrooms: no idea where they were; I saw what looked like an old barn, and the bathrooms were inside it. A dingy, dark, old building.
Service: None! I wasn’t told anything upon arrival and figured out on my own that there were sandwiches in the morning. But… according to the owner, I was supposed to have ordered them. Since I hadn’t been told anything, I had no idea about that! The owner then tried to argue that he had told me. I ended the argument by stating that he was lying and that I hadn’t been told anything upon arrival.
The overall impression is one of a run-down and messy place. The restrooms are being renovated, but judging by the reviews, they’ve been working on them for years.
The field for RVs/trailers is decent. The rest of the campground consists of permanent (mostly run-down) sites.
Conclusion: Keep driving—there are plenty of better campgrounds in the area!this is a translation, click here for the original

We stayed there for 8 days—in a word, it was terrible. The toilet seat was missing, and in another bathroom, the toilet bowl was loose. The showerhead sprayed water everywhere. The light turns off on its own, so you end up washing yourself in the dark. A very outdated restaurant where the schnitzels have probably been simmering for ages, because for four people, they’re served within five minutes. The frozen pizza doesn’t deserve to be called pizza at all. It costs €3 per day for your dog—but why? You obviously have to walk him outside the campground; besides that, there’s nothing for your four-legged friend, so why pay? We accidentally walked into the “restaurant,” where we were told in a very urgent tone, “DER HUND MUS RAUS”—they could have phrased that a bit more politely. All in all, we’re NEVER coming back here!
