At the end of June, during what was probably the hottest period of 2026 (41 ºC!!), we stayed here for just over a week with our folding trailer, and we were so happy with the beautiful pool that’s included in the price.
The campground itself is essentially a very nice place. There are many campsites in various sizes, with plenty of shaded areas. The glamping tents come in many varieties and are very well maintained. Regular guests are mainly located on the left side of the entrance, and you certainly won’t be bothered by them.

However, the swimming pool is also the biggest drawback of this campground, as a campground. Because the poolside restaurant is also run by the campground managers/owners—and apparently there’s a shortage of staff even in Germany—the campground itself is somewhat neglected. Not in terms of hygiene—the showers, restrooms, and buildings are spotlessly clean every day—but in terms of general grounds maintenance. The thistles were scratching the backs of our knees when we arrived at our reserved spot, and in the immediate vicinity were some poorly cleaned-up sites belonging to regular guests who had recently left. This gives a somewhat neglected impression. It wasn’t even possible to have a beer on the patio on a warm day because all the attention apparently goes to the pool.

The area around the campground does make you want to visit this region again, but I doubt it will be at this campground.

Friendly reception. We stayed last minute for 1 night. Plenty of pitch space for a camper van. The site has a big swimming pool which is included in the price. Showers also included in the price, super hot and so clean. There was a kiosk on site but we did our own food so cannot comment on this. Calm and quiet atmosphere for a good night's sleep.
