In the middle of nature, a special place awaits you: the Thulba Rooftop Tent Village. Sleep in cozy rooftop tents on small wooden platforms among the trees and experience camping in a whole new way. Each platform has its own unique character and invites you to spend a few relaxing days under the stars. Each village also has a special platform for dog owners. Your dog is as welcome as you are! The rooftop tents accommodate 2 to 4 people, making them perfect for couples, families or small groups.

At Dachzelt Dorf Thulba, you sleep in the campsite of Thulba Nature Camp. A small meadow surrounded by trees has been transformed into a unique place with platforms for rooftop tents. Everything you need is already there: pack your sleeping bag or blanket, nestle into the comfortable mattress and unwind. Glamping at its best!

Waving in the wind

"The answer is blowing in the wind" - maybe the answer is that you, of all people, should spend the night in this rooftop tent on this platform? Let the sounds of 1970s wind chimes lull you to sleep and relax under the shade of the Bob Dylan tribute platform. The rooftop tent sits atop a converted hunting cabin. Ideal for those who prefer to stay a little closer to the ground.

Stairs to Heaven

This platform lives up to its name! After climbing the slope via the stairs, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire DAKTENTENDORP. On this beautiful platform on the hill you will sleep in a folding roof tent with a sleeping length of 240 cm.

Woodstock

Upon arrival at the Thulba DAKTENTENDORP, you will immediately come across the amazing Woodstock platform, suspended above a pile of tree trunks. With any luck, you can enjoy views of the wakeboard park through the trees or look out over the center of the rooftop tent village from your own terrace.

The facilities at the Dachzelt Dorf Thulba

At the Dachzelt Dorf Thulba you will find a fire pit and a covered area where you can cook with your own cooking utensils. There is also a water tap right by the tent village. A disco ball, hammocks and peace symbols will take you back to the 70s. The campground has bathroom facilities. Nearby you will find a natural lake with a wakeboard facility, which you can also see through the trees from the rooftop tent village. There is also a restaurant at the wakeboard park, just 200 meters away, and fresh rolls are available for breakfast, which you can order the day before.

Thulba is just one of six DACHZELT DORF locations in Germany. Other villages can be found in Furtwangen in the Black Forest, Rülzheim in the Palatinate, on the island of Amrum, in Sandstedt and in Freilingen. There is something for everyone, regardless of location!

Around Oberthulba you will find a varied natural landscape between the Rhön Mountains and the Franconian wine region.
