Forest Cabin at Gallushof

The rustic and cozy forest cabin in the countryside has 2 floors and its own basement. The accommodation is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Inside, there is an open sleeping area, a TinyStyle bathroom with a shower and toilet, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a 2-burner stove, a fridge, and a small freezer compartment. There is also a Senseo coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle, and an outdoor barbecue including a grill rack. In front of the forest cabin, a hammock is strung between two apple trees where you can relax. The glamping accommodation at Gallushof is available all year round and can be heated in winter with infrared heating.

Facilities at Gallushof

Gallushof is located at the entrance to the Zuwäldertal and is surrounded by vast meadows and beautiful forests. The glamping accommodation is situated in the Central/North Black Forest Nature Park and on the edge of a bird sanctuary. There are many animals on the farm that you can pet. The Gallus sawmill, an old water-powered sawmill, and the Lourdes grotto are also part of the farm. Gallushof is supplied with fresh drinking water from its own spring. The farm also features several photovoltaic systems for generating its own electricity. Gallushof produces many products: wood-fired bread, Black Forest ham, homemade sausages, eggs from happy chickens, as well as cider and schnapps made from unsprayed fruit. While you relax in the sun, your children can enjoy themselves on the playground or trampoline. For extra relaxation, there is a small wellness oasis under the roof of the farm. A private sauna with 85°C (Finnish sauna) or 60°C (bio sauna) is available for a fee. A wellness shower, Kneipp hose, colored light therapy, and loungers ensure a relaxing sauna experience. Water and tea are available free of charge.

Please note the following minimum stays: From January to April and in November and December, the minimum stay is 2 nights (except during holiday periods). In May and June, it is 5 nights; in July and August, 7 nights; and in September and October, also 7 nights.
