The safari lodges of Our Spot in the Forest

Experience the outdoors in style in one of the two child-friendly safari lodges for up to 7 people on the Veluwe. The lodges are rugged and atmospherically furnished with scaffolding wood and offer everything for a carefree family holiday. Inside, you'll find three bedrooms, a spacious living room with pellet stove, games cupboard, and a fully equipped kitchen with combi microwave, large fridge and everything you need. The spacious bathroom features a lovely rain shower for a fresh start to the day.  

Outside, children can play safely in the fenced garden with trampoline and playhouse, while you relax on the spacious covered veranda of 15 m². Inside, young guests are considered with a cosy play corner (with lots of toys) under the box bed and child-friendly tableware. The safari lodge is located on a lively park but still offers plenty of privacy and peace.

The facilities at Our Spot in the Forest

At Our Spot in the Forest there's always something to do for young and old. The safari lodges are located at holiday park Het Lierderholt, and as a guest of Our Spot in the Forest you're warmly welcome to make use of all park facilities. Take a refreshing dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool with spectacular slides, or let the children splash endlessly in the themed children's pool. The park also offers ample space for sports and games, with various playgrounds, a mini golf course and a panna field.

The campsite is truly in the heart of the forest. You're surrounded by nature: chirping birds, woodpeckers tapping in the trees and squirrels curiously scurrying about. Along the edge of the park you might even regularly encounter wild boar or deer.  During summer and school holidays, a daily animation programme ensures plenty of fun. From the May holiday onwards, there is weekend animation for the children every weekend. Outside these periods there's no animation programme, but fortunately nature ensures wonder all year round.

Food and drinks are taken care of too: grab a quick bite at the Friterie, enjoy a drink at the Grand Café, or sit down at the eatery or à la carte restaurant. Everything is present for a relaxing and varied holiday at this glamping in Gelderland.
