Wander through historic Roseto Capo Spulico
Discover the historic centre of Roseto Capo Spulico and stroll through atmospheric streets full of Italian charm. Visit the Vinèlla degli Innamorati, one of the narrowest alleyways in Europe, admire the Chiesa Madre di San Nicola di Myra and the centuries-old Fontana di San Vitale. Then take a seat at a cosy terrace and taste the famous Ciliegia di Roseto, the juicy cherry for which the village is known.

Visit Castello Federiciano
Just a few minutes' walk from the park is the impressive Castello Federiciano, towering high above the Ionian Sea. This well-preserved medieval castle stands on a cliff and is surrounded by legends about Emperor Frederick II of Swabia. Wander through the historic structure and enjoy panoramic views of the coast. Visit the castle around sunset, when the warm evening sun beautifully illuminates the ancient stones.
Immerse yourself in the Grotta delle Ninfe
About a half-hour drive away is the Grotta delle Ninfe, a remarkable natural hot spring near Cerchiara di Calabria. Here, sulphur-rich spring water at a pleasant temperature of around 30 degrees flows into a natural pool between high rock walls. Since ancient times, this place has been known for its relaxing and healing properties. According to an old legend, the nymph Calypso once lived here, giving the cave an extra mystical atmosphere. Take a refreshing dip, enjoy the peace and let yourself be surrounded by the nature of the Calabrian hinterland. Thanks to its unique combination of wellness, nature and history, this is a special destination for a relaxing day out.
Enjoy Baia Bella and the Ionian coast
Right in front of Festora the Glamping of Baia Bella lies the beautiful Ionian coast, where crystal-clear blue water and a varied coastline invite you to enjoy a relaxing day by the sea. Settle down on the beach, take a refreshing dip or explore the underwater world with a snorkel. Thanks to the clear water, colourful fish and remarkable rock formations are easy to see. Along the coast, you can walk among the pine trees and enjoy magnificent views over the Ionian Sea. On the way, you will pass quiet coves where you can rest for a while or take a refreshing swim. End the day with dinner at one of the restaurants along the coast, while the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon and the sky turns a warm orange.

When you arrive at Baia Bella, it’s common knowledge that, once you’ve parked your car, you turn right and find this endless expanse of pine forest overlooking the sea. I never would have thought that, starting this year, the left side might also catch my attention. Why? A state-of-the-art glamping site has opened.
Once you pass through the … gate, you enter a pine forest very similar to the one on the right. Except that here you’ll find the reception area, a bar, a restaurant, and—most importantly—their real crowning glory: the various types of accommodations. They range from the smallest to the medium-sized, all the way up to the largest. Some are made of wood, others are constructed with technical materials similar to those used in camping tents, and still others have completely different features. All of them, it seems, are equipped with air conditioning. And each one is more beautiful than the last.
Imagine waking up every morning and seeing the sea first thing. Literally right in front of you, all the time, waiting for you at any hour of the day. Travel time? Less than a second.
And for those who aren’t fans of saltwater—or of feeling salty when you come back from a swim—there’s a beautiful pool with an attached spa, sauna, and massage services, to end the day on the highest note.
I’m sorry to be writing this review only at the end of the season, but use it as a reference for next summer. As they say: you shouldn’t wait that long. After all, here in the South, the nice weather starts as early as April or May.
Keep an eye on Booking and get your wallet ready. The rest is pure pleasure.this is a translation, click here for the original

We spent 7 nights at this property.
No complaints about the location—it’s a wonderful place with beautiful cottages—but unfortunately, a few things need to be said about the services.
We arrived on Sunday, and the timing allowed us to make a reservation for dinner, which—based on how it was advertised on social media—made us eager to try … it... but the service fell short; the wait times were very long, and after 30 minutes, no one had brought us water or bread to tide us over while we waited. When I asked if we could have some still water, I was even told that we had to wait for the waitress who was taking orders. Breakfast, served just one hour before closing time, was lackluster, but I think this was because the staff was overwhelmed. On two occasions we asked for coffee and cappuccino, but we only received them once; the second time, after asking for the third time, we left.
The property is described as an oasis of relaxation, a place to unwind, surrounded by nature… That’s partly true, but the reality is that since they welcome families with small children, you end up hearing constant noise even during quiet hours.
We were offered complimentary access to the pool, and the staff explained the entry times and the €25 surcharge for the Sensora Spa… The result was that we constantly saw children diving into the pool.
Obviously, regarding what I mentioned above, I’m not blaming the children or the facilities—the fault lies with the parents—but I found little attention to detail and a lack of staff presence to enforce certain rules.
If the facility is marketed as an oasis of relaxation, it needs to live up to what it promises and charges for—otherwise, it’s all talk and no action.
They really need to step up their game to significantly improve the services.this is a translation, click here for the original

The location and rooms were perfect—no complaints there. The front desk staff, however, was very rude and, on many occasions, ill-prepared. If you want to create a resort-style atmosphere, the staff needs to be up to the task—not just thrown together at the last minute. Too bad.

Peccato.

We stayed for a week in August and will return as soon as possible; it’s the perfect place to recharge, enjoy the beach, the excellent food, and the pleasant atmosphere between the sea and the pine forest. A special thanks to the owner, Antonella—a kind and helpful person. We hope it becomes “adults only” in the future because that would be perfect.
