Great, but I just couldn't find the restrooms—the signs pointed toward the playground, but I couldn't find them. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Disappointing for a first-time experience. The promised amenities weren’t there: the restaurant and grocery store were closed, and the mobile home—supposedly for 6 people—was cramped even for 4. The microwave was way too high. I had to stand on tiptoes to reach a bowl, with all the risk that entails (I’m 163 cm tall); the lights in the living area … were much too low (at head height); and the instructions for defrosting the refrigerator didn’t match the model we had. No trash bags in the aisles despite the designated spots. Shorts are prohibited in the pool, yet there’s no one to enforce the rule (a group of young teens in shorts with their underwear sticking out, and on another day, those same teens were wearing nothing but underwear). It’s true that the pool isn’t supervised, but there’s a camera and someone at the snack bar inside the pool area who could enforce this rule.

Great! We stayed for a week... all the staff were incredibly friendly, and the mobile homes were very comfortable and clean...We’ll be back because, on top of that, our little dog Lilli was able to walk around in this lovely pine forest and play to her heart’s content on the beautiful deck of our mobile home… See you soon, then… You might forget us, but we won’t forget you…

A nice campground, but a little out of the way

Campground Upon our arrival, a €150 pre-authorization was placed on our credit card as a security deposit. At the end of our stay, we cleaned the mobile home and left, believing we had left it in good condition.Our mistake was not requesting a joint exit inspection.
To my great surprise, I then discovered that the €150 security deposit had … been deducted, without any photos, signed inventory, or supporting documentation having been sent to me to demonstrate the alleged cleanliness issues.
When I contacted the campground for an explanation, the manager told me I would now have to deal directly with Camping.com. Since then, I have been disputing this deduction and simply asking for evidence to justify it.
I find this situation particularly disappointing and regret the lack of transparency in the handling of this security deposit. Before booking, I therefore advise future guests to be especially vigilant and to always request a final inspection report as well as supporting documentation in the event of a deduction from the security deposit.
