The park is beautifully located on the cliffs with sea views, and guests appreciate the friendly staff and good cleanliness standards. The swimming pool is large and well-maintained, and the train service to the beach is convenient. However, prices are often considered too high for what is offered, and the sanitary facilities are outdated and not always properly clean. The limited train schedule, noise disturbance from nearby bars, and the condition of some accommodations also cause dissatisfaction.

A well-maintained campground on the cliffs, though the service left a bitter aftertaste.
The campground itself is well-designed: spacious grounds and a great location right on the cliffs. The cleanliness throughout the entire property and in the shower areas deserves special praise. Since the beach is a bit of a walk away, there’s a convenient shuttle service via a small tourist train.
What really spoiled our stay, however, was the staff’s forced demeanor. Their interactions seemed completely artificial and like they were reciting a script. You can tell the employees don’t really want to be there at all.
Unfortunately, this impression was massively reinforced at the resort’s own restaurant. The service there was disastrous, and at every turn, it was made unmistakably clear that, as a guest, you were really just in the way. Because of this uncomfortable feeling, the experience unfortunately leaves a very bitter aftertaste.

The campground is located high above the Rilke Trail. It’s shaded and fully equipped. The pool is nice.
The only downside is having to take the shuttle down to the beach, which runs on a set schedule.

Very nice campsite on the cliffs near Sastiana. Sanitary building a little dated but very clean at all times of the day. We were in the front row on the cliffs and had a beautiful view of the bay of Trieste. We really liked the new restaurant by the pool. The menu was pleasantly clear with regional specialties. The pizzas were also very tasty. We thought the prices were fair. The staff were friendly and courteous. The sanitary facilities were always clean despite high occupancy. The one or other bathroom should be renovated a little.
